This is the worse season in my opinion. The guys are not at that level where they and near peak like past seasons. I’m hoping for a fight that does not look like a slap fest from two girls.

That was a fun fight! Even if they missed some conditionning, they gave all they have. Good win for Rampage, it’s funnier when both team have fighters later in the game.

Man these guys are weak they gassed literally after the first few punches, then they all punched like bitches what a terrible season if it wasn’t for rampage I wouldn’t have watched this season at all.

You guys don’t realize something… they don’t gas because they aren’t conditioned… they are CONSTANTLY conditioning… this is a training camp and they don’t get enough recovery time before these fights really. They have been broken down by the conditioning they do on this show so they are a lot weaker when they fight. It is basically fighting under hard conditions.

have you been looking at these guys records? the pretty boy had a decent 3-0 but a lot of them have like 5-5 or 4-4 and i even saw a couple with a losing record. How do they get on this show with those records? i try not to judge and say its all about how they fight now and overall these fights have not been impressive.

I think Rampage isn’t being hard enough on his team… He has to work these guys until they drop and r&r before the fight… I here what some of you guys are saying that they are gassed because of training but this wasn’t the case with UF3 or even with Forrest’s UF group…. I mean come on this is their big brea where’s the hunger?

It was good slugfest. Finally Rampage wins one! But I thought the point of the show was to develop some mediocre, regular fighters into big time UFC guys. Thats why alot of these guys have 3-1, 4-4, type records. One of them has never even had a pro fight before the show. Add to that the constant training, and the nerves of fighting on TUF, you can’t expect to see GSP, Silva, Liddell type of fights. These guys arent ready for that yet.

I think it was a good brawl, not really technical but at least they went at it. A lot of the fights lately are guys too afraid to engage, these guys have nothing to lose so they go balls to the wall.

Taking that many shots to the head takes something out of you. There were so many shots in the first round that got through clean and left heads far from clear. That’s where you gas.

The worst season? Yeah, maybe. But then again… the original Ultimate Fighter was picking people that had fought in pretty good leagues. Forrest had already fought Jeremy Horn before season 1, Diego had amazing performances at Cage Rage or KOTC or something… They were well known people. 7 season in, you have to expect less prodigies to come from nowhere.

I thought that this fight was great. If you have Dana White, Forrest Griffin, and Rampage Jackson saying it was a great fight, who are you people posting comments on the net to say it wasn’t?

Hey Chute Boxe, the reason Dana, Forrest, and Rampage are saying “it was a great fight” is because it’s their show. (Vince McMahon of the WWE used to say the XFL games were great too….you know what happened there).

The only good thing about the Ultimate Fighter is, now the public can see what utter crap the UFC has become.

The rules and the hiring policies of the UFC are aimed towards fighters that will swing for the fences throwing nothing but bombs in the first 2 minutes. It doesn’t really matter if they gas out or have a shit fight after the 1st round. The sports bar brawler audience that the UFC has will still say stupid stuff like “Oh that was a war” and “man they really put it all on the line” and they will both be invited back. We would never see great fighters with a technical style like Sakuraba or Shinya Aoki in the UFC.

“Ultimate Fighting Crap” - what you said about Dana, Page and Griffin calling the fight great out of bias is utter BS; you obviously didn’t watch the first couple of episodes where they took the piss out of some of the fights.. even to the winners.

Heh, and what do you know about the “hiring policies of the UFC” ? Last time I checked, Pride hosted freak show matches. Giant Silva? Zulzinho? Give me a break.

And while I agree that the crop of new talent is different because it truly IS new talent now, not pre-established MMA fighters like Griffin (or, more recently, Mac Danzig, a multiple-time winner of KotC), it doesn’t excuse putting shit fighters out there. I’d rather they change the tournament format and put 8 guys on the show, 8 guys who train hard and who possess enough intelligence not to play to the camera in the house.
