this season sucks, these fighters suck, the only division with any skill on TUF is the lightweight, they need to have a featherweight U.S. v Japan WEC TUF featherweight show…but i guess no skill back-and-forth slopfests is what Dana considers “awesome” fights

A lot of heart, but less talent. It´s pathetic how a bad fighter like Demarques can be in the final. I relly thought he would be better – because the biggest assholo on the show use to be quite good. And talk about luck! He have now faced the only 2 guys from UK that aren´t good.
If he would have faced any another fighter, he would have lost easely.

All I keep thinking while watching this is that these guys are in the same weight class as GSP… I don’t think either of these guys will be a contender at 170 in the UFC. common sense I totally agree with what you said, “i guess no skill back-and-forth slopfests is what Dana considers “awesome” fights.”… This was an entertaining but very sloppy fight. On the flip side I realize it’s hard under their circumstances and on the show your cardio is going to suffer.

Both guys were tired by the end, but I think the brit gassed out a little earlier in the first round. I would hope the Damarques from SLC wins the finals, that would do me proud. I’m thinking this

Everybody gets tired, but at least they both kept fighting. They aren’t pros yet, naturally they don’t measure up to the champion in their weight class. Cut them some slack. I am looking forward to seeing improvement in the finals.

why is it that every year almost no one can go 2 rounds full pace let alone 3. if you get in the house and your in proper shape you should be able to win. just last the first round then finish them in the second when the’re knakered

I dont get where all this hate is coming from though. I mean sure we have ALL seen better fights throughought TUF but you have to know that these fighters are facing a new caliber of opponents than in their past, regardless if you think they “are shitty”.
Sure alot of times it was a little slow and they were gassed, but hey I dont think anyone can judge them. Im pullin for DJ I was impressed by the fight but still kinda sloppy on and off. DJ surely grew tremendously.

come on now i bet half u guys leaving comments on this site are not fighters. these guys are not PROs who make hundreds of thousands a fight they most likely work jobs and fight because its there dream look at Evans he was GARBAGE on the show and once he got to the UFC n fighting was his job he became a good fighter… and if your hating on there cardio think about it your working with some of the best in the world with no days off. if fighting is ur dream ur gona work hard to learn all u can ovcourse your going to be tired when it comes to fight time but thats why most fights come down to heart which i think all u guys would be surprised to see how little fighters actually have it
