Man you could tell he felt awful after that kick. Beauty kick like Jet Li where it kinda hooks. This guy is amazing and he seems to be not too much of a dick.

Man i felt bad for the Kid. such a devastating kick. U.H seems like a great guy though. not many fighters would show such sympathy after a fight.

Jones is such a douchebag. I mean, we all know ther cameras are there, but he plays up to them so much. Pretending he was crying when the kid was telling his story, c’mon man.
@gripman: I’m a Jones fan (and a Sonnen fan actually), but yeah, I kind want Jones to shutup. His little speeches are just annoying. His whole persona on the show seems a little fake / forced.
i agree, thought the exact same thing while watching the episode about jones. I’d definitely rather be on sonnen’s team. Sonnen is genuine and jones is talking all this preachy crap. It actually reminds me of Rashad when he was coaching too vs. rampage. I seriously wouldn’t be able to put up with jones persona, especially the preview of the next week when he was growling about feeling the win, also when they were doing 123 team.
Deep respect to Uriah for showing so much compassion towards Adam and not celebrating too loud. The UFC and MMA is evolving amazingly and this bout was clear proof, in a nutshell, crazy action on the octagon displayed by great gentlemen off the cage. Thug era seems to finally be over, MMA will soon be mainstream and become the elite sport played by the best athletes and most healthy human beings. Happy!!
Uriah Hall decapitated that kid with that kick! I agree that it’s nice to see guys showing much more respect toward each other in this season instead of acting like jerks.

Beautiful kick, and Uriah is a respectful martial artist. Showing respect for others shows that you have respect for yourself.

Wow. I had my doubts as to whether Hall could live up to the hype, but I was wrong wrong wrong…
I think he’ll lose his next one though. He’ll climb inside his head and talk himself out of his ferocity. This brutal KO may cost him in the long run.
I don’t mind Jones’ pep talks too much, but every coach should watch the conversation between Sonnen and Hall. That was brilliant. Exactly what Hall needed when he needed it most.

That kick shows this sport is only a generation of fighter away from a death in the ring. Cool knockout, and scary at the same time. Been watching this sport for a long time and never actually felt like throwing up after a knockout, until tonight.

Sonnen seems like a really great coach (as I kinda expected). He plays a douchebag character for the cameras, but when it’s not for show, a lot of people seem to have nice things to say about him and this show looks like it’s showing that side of him.
I think that’s the first time I’ve ever seen a fighter apologize and seem so genuine. You could tell UH really felt bad about how bad the KO was.
I did absolutely love the Haduken though.
that was brutal. adam cella has like zero muscle tone….he just looked soft. esp. for 180.
When robbie lawler knocked out matt lindland than paul daley knocked out scott smith. This guy is like screw the jab and knocks him out there was obviously a huge physical advantage.
man they really nailed this season finally they finally quit catering to fu_ckups and stopped focusing on silly s*** drama bitc_h stuff and focused on important things andso far Both coaches has been by leaps and bounds the 2 best gentlemen they have put in the coaches position. Lotta class man and allota respect except for bubbas bit_ch ass but he is going to get his ass whoopin you can look me in the eye when i tell you he is a joke.
This is the one thing that scares me in the ring. I’m not worried about getting knocked out, that’s happened a few times, I’m worried about getting permanently mentally damaged from a spinal injury. Broken bones and physical injuries that linger forever happen. It doesn’t even bother me. Just the mental health that worries me. The worst I’ve ever been KO’ed was in a heated sparring session when I took a roundhouse between my nose and eyes. Went out like a light and the video shows me gasping like a fish but it was only a 10 second deal. I also got KO’ed by a girl I was working with. We were working hands only but she, being a Tae Kwon Do black belt, instinctively threw a kick when when I leaned down. Again a roundhouse between the eyes and nose put me out. I wish I could finish someone with that kick, it looks good on film.
And Bruno the guy wondering about his comments being deleted, they aren’t but they are not showing. For some reason some of the comments posted are ending up on different videos. A few of mine have done it, and the way I found out was Google searching:

It brings up all my comments.
Bruno: He was posting all his comments in ALL CAPS. They went to trash bin. Searching that way also helps find old videos if you can’t find them in my search box.
I enjoy this TUF the most out of all of them. Especially Sonnen, who (so far) comes out as a great coach, preparing his fighters both physically and mentally. I knew Chael is a great coach since I’ve seen a footage of him training kids few years back. he’s excellent. I remember one guy was moaning when he was chosen by Sonnen, don’t know if it was Hall? Anyway – this was the best thing that could have happened for anyone – to learn from the best
