TUF 15 Live on FX Episode 3 Video Complete Show With Justin Lawrence vs Cristiano Marcello Fight.
…unbelievable…37 years old…trained in chute box and still stick his head out like a monkey…and then his strength is jiu jitsu but want to bang with the other guy….sometimes the Brazilians are quite learn resistant
Lol
I didn’t like how Marcello fought….I think Justin was more accurate than him
agreed…with everyone
jesus christ black belt great ground game but no il stand up and bang are these guys for real.. theres always one dick on the show who you wanna see get knockout thats you tickle you prick
Jui jitsu hypers overlook its weakness, its a “defensive” martial arts. You are only offensive when your opponent makes a mistake and leaves out an arm, leg, or neck for a bar, triangle or choke. Strikers have a formula to win…take down/submission defense, efficient/precision striking, and killer speed. “Living, eating, breathing, [and even shitting]” jui jitsu will only get you so far in MMA.
Horrible game plan from Faber’s team. shoul,d have utilized his Gracie JJ
Seriously, how many times do you have to be told to keep your chin down?!
Justin can probably do well in the UFC if he enters it now.
I dunno how much he cuts to make 155, but he may be able to make 145 since he’s so young.
Why did the make a new gay song for TUF.I agree the one beofre wasn’t that good but that song is really too much “FOX” for my taste.I had mixed feelings about Fox and UFC.But I’m getting a bit annoyed by how Fox producers want to change everything. They change the music of the UFCs,TUF,change the setting, and they put their boring sports catsers there. As long as they don,t touch anything that comes to fighting because they will proabably ruin it like verything they touched.
Where’s the ground game? Why spend a decade getting a black belt in BJJ ?

“i jitsu hypers overlook its weakness, its a “defensive” martial arts. You are only offensive when your opponent makes a mistake and leaves out an arm, leg, or neck for a bar, triangle or choke.”
You have absolutely NO IDEA what you’re talking about..the exact same thing could be said about fighting in general or even just striking. You force and create openings they don’t just happen..
I am really starting to like Cruz he seems like great guy, has presence and also first to congratulate and help the cameraman when he fell. ![]()
Marcello has great BJJ,good striking and a good chin. But that’s his problem. He has a good chin so he doesn’t think it’s that important to tuck your chin. It’s the 1st thing you learn in boxing right after you learn how to place your feet. You don’t tuck your chin you have no choice but to get knocked out.Marcello gives his chin to the guy so he doesn’t even have to feint or time his punches perfectly to catch him on the chin. And te worst part is he has good kicks and punches but he doesn’t tuck his chin or move his head so it negates his striking.I would really like to see him to his chin he could easily be 3 times better.
MArcello fought like a moron I am tired of seeing Jiu Jitsu guys try to be K1 stars.
Honestly this guy is my favorite to win. I believe he would have done that to anyone he fought, and so does Cruz which is why he didn’t care who he fought. He threw it back to Faber, Faber threw it to his team and nobody wanted to fight him.
OMG wherees the black belt in jiujitsu, grow man showing family photos, i fight for my family, BS he stay there like an amateur waiting to get rapped.
Man, some of you guys type f*ckin’ novels on here.
WAR Team Cruz, and to the guy who said that BJJ is a defensive art…tell that to Aoki.
♠
for someone from chute box he cant strike for s***, justin has very good stand up good kicks and good very explosive guy. matcello should have pulled guard, i mean justin is half his size, and keep the chin down,
After this fight Cristiano should have been sent all alone to a room, then send a group of guys to go and harass him, then have one of those guys KO him. See how he likes a taste of his own medicine.
Just kidding, I don’t seriously advocate such things.
@SoulSurfer: Jiu Jitsu can become a totally offensive martial art if you choose so. How? You take your opponent down, establish a dominant position and then do whatever you like (assuming you’re a proficient practitioner). In rolling, you must wait for your opponent to make a mistake, yes. But in MMA, you don’t need to go for a submission. You can choose to strike your opponent from the dominant position you have established until the KO or the TKO comes. You make it sound as if jiu jitsu only has submissions.. Well it doesn’t. It also has striking but it’s striking on the ground instead of standing up. Don’t get me wrong, I think you must absolutely cross train for MMA, if you want to be successful. However, jiu jitsu is not only defensive as an art. You can make it very offensive if you choose to (Always assuming you’re successful in taking your opponent down).
After a rough first episode, there’s something extra special about these Live TUF episodes. I feel like they’re not overly produced anymore and kudos to the editing team for finding a new storyline to focus on every week with their time crunch. I like the old TUF, but considering they’re doing a live show, it’s going off pretty well.
They didn’t make a “new” song, dude. It’s an old Chili Peppers song.
TKO by Hammer Hook!?
WOW Marcelos stand up was horrible! Kept on throwing the same kick
I love how dumb people are….Hey let’s stand and bang with the dude whos been doing this since he was 6. if you stand and trade with him he will be sooooooo surprised that suddenly the shittier guy will be the one who now has the advantage? umm no, how about you just gave him an easy 5k because you’re an idiot….oh well i wanted justin to win anyway, it’s just funny hearing stupid logic (since he won’t expect it, all of a sudden it gives the worse guy in the standup department, the edge.
Rematch krazy horse vs Cristiana MArcella…
“Higher Ground” by The Red Hot Chili Peppers is a good intro song (and the bass guitar is awesome). IMO the old TUF intro song always made me think of the type of crap young douchebags listened to when they want to feel tough.
Anyway, I usually want the more experienced fighter to win but what a fool Marcello was for not ever using his best weapons in a fight. Who the hell does that? Lawrence on the other hand did great. Good for him.
Thanks for posting, Bruno.
Lawrence lives about 30 minutes from me and my buddy’s 14 year old son has rolled with him. But what’s up with the back acne? I’m shocked that nobody mentioned it in this thread.
@ Mr. Obvious
“But what’s up with the back acne? I’m shocked that nobody mentioned it in this thread.”
Are you a chick????
@Mr. Obvious
he’s still 21..
I’m actually very interested to see how christiano would look against someone else (that’s not twice as fast as him). However, he does need to keep his chin down, and his hands up for that matter
I live 1 min from Rampage ……!! blahhhh blahs dude shut it…
“Are you a chick????”
Are you an idiot????
Found it interesting that Jiu Jitsu was born in Brazil apparently and that the Gracie family were the one’s who made it. Somehow I thought it was a Japanese martial art. I mean, I do it, and this whole time I must have been wrong. Maybe I’m just an uneducated, backward Australian. Hahaha.
@Sirius2: Jiu-Jitsu is originally from Japan and it’s an art derived from Indian and Chinese martial arts. The Gracies were the first ones to learn it in Brazil in the 1900s and they modified it so much that it became something else called Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.
So, you are not wrong, it’s just that they are two different things now.
chin down! chin down! chin down! pow! should have kept his chin down.
LOL>..
BJJ black belt = 10 years hard work, stand and bang and show your chin to the world.
IDIOT.
urijah only yelled tuck your chin, like 150 times, and even explicitly had the portugese speaker translate several times. you can only coach stupid so much, this guy will never make it because he does not seem able to listen, kudos to him for trying, but there is a reason he has been training with the best in the world, silva, and the huas, and has not yet made it, he wont learn obviously.
you cant make brownies out of s***, this guy is obviously not very smart.
big props to the cruz team for seeking out a risky but highly rewarding opportunity in this contest and exploiting the hell out of it.
just look at cruz guys, he is skinny and weak, even in his own weight class, he has to be crafty to win, he is running his contest here the same way. i dont think faber is used to dealing with anyone outside of the box, and it is affecting him.
but nothing was really wrong with his coaching here, his man simply would not listen to his coaches and corner.
tuck your chin is striking 101
