Bruno I say this as a supporter of mmatko. Don’t mess with the video format too much. Some people do not have access to programs that can watch flash media, sure they are free and not hard to get like VLC and even quicktime with codes, but you are ostracizing a portion of your traffic by doing this. I am sure the traffic and the difficulty in posting 3, or more videos is why you did that, but think about it. If its not broke, don’t fix it.

Bruno: The reason I linked to the video the way I did is – I am in Koln Germany for the day, No computer, only my phone. With rapideshare you can download the video at 20 times the speed you would get if I posted the video on RUtube. You get to save it on your computer or phone so you can watch it whenever you want. I is in the same video format (Flv) as a standard Youtube video. I will be back to posting my standard way when I get back to my house in Merzig.

I would like to add, this season sucks so bad its unbelievable. These guys gas like its the new in thing. This was slightly more competitive then if we saw Patrick Swazye vs Michael Jackson next week… sheesh.

@Iconoclast- I don’t think they should never do it again, maybe in tandem with another weight class like before. But, I do agree with your sentiment. When I saw this season was gonna be heavyweights, the first thing I thought about was how bad this season could be if they didn’t have any gamers on the show. HW’s knockout power make for good first rounds, but anything after that with the big guys generally becomes two sloths fondling each other. They tire out too fast. Prime example in this episode- although it was the best fight so far. Gotta say, Mitrione handled his biz . . .

Just when I thought this season couldn’t get any more pathetic…and Dana White was eating it up like these guys were in a dog fight. Dude! They were gassing after a half a round of nothing. I’ve said it before. Imagine any of the top 20 heavyweights in the UFC against any of these guys. If this is the best pool of fighters they can come up with, then I want in on the next season.

guys chill…i never remember being blown away by ANY TUF fight IN THE HOUSE. The point of the show is to groom PROSPECTS. They aren’t supposed to look like a top 10 HW straight off the bat in the house. Guarantee whoever makes it on TUF finale card will look 10 times sharper than they did in the house. Also it was Meatheads first fight, EVER, give the guy some slack. If you fight you know your first fight you are full of adrenaline, can’t think clearly, and gas quickly as a result. The fact he won against a UFC vet in his first fight deseves a little credit

This looks so frustrating. No good take downs and the ground and pound was horrible. The tall guy throws punches with his arm and not his body. He has so much body weight he could knock anyone out with one punch but instead he punches like a diaz brother.

I hope these guys get better. This is frustrating to watch. I think some of them are in better shape than they fight, but when nerves and adrenaline takeover they just can’t stay loose, relax and they gas REALLY quick! Especially cause they’re heavyweights. They need more experience before fighting on TV like this. These just aren’t good fights. Most top contender heavyweights in the UFC just don’t run outta energy like this… because of experience.

I have two main issues with this season.

1. Now that we know rampage and rashad arent going to fight all the trash talking and confrontations dont mean anything. im sure originally it would have hyped up the fight but its ruined it now.

2. I dont remember a season where the fighters are so unfit and lacking in skill. I dont know whether its because theyre HW coz when the first HW season was done the fighters were good – rashad and jardine for example. Can you really see any of these guys in the UFC making a run for the title? or even just getting a win for that matter

You have to download the file from rapidshare, like you’d download any other file or patch from a website, then open it.

@Oaklandblackouts- Seriously, dude! I couldn’t believe Rashad was talking about Rampage getting knocked out when his beatdown by Machida is the only HL I seem to see in Machida promos and UFC commercials. Rashad got his ass WHIPPED, BAD- didn’t even land ONE PUNCH, plus, that knockout looked horrible(on his part). He walked right into that Rampage thing- hell, I prolly would’ve done him worse than that. Rashad seriously looked like he could’ve been outlined in chalk (fitting, given that it was a MURDER SCENE).

If other formats aren’t working for you, use Adobe Media Player (just google for it). I didn’t have a program that could run an FLV, but I just searched for it, found AMP, downloaded it onto my 8 year old computer, and it was fixed. Seriously, it’s not fucking rocket science. If my dino computer can handle it, most others should be able to.

And this fight was seriously sad – no wonder Junk lost twice in the UFC. No ground game (he was submitted both times) and now we see he’s got no gas in the tank. If Mat the Rat beats you, it’s time to rethink your career options.
