Log in to Reply mmafan April 13, 2013 that was stupid Log in to Reply Noel April 13, 2013 Six elbows. The first two were legal and the last four were straight to the back of the head. Log in to Reply tru April 13, 2013 Well thanks man.but im in bakersfield california and battle los angeles is on fx do you know if it starts at a different time here? Realy appreciate it Log in to Reply kidfrosty April 13, 2013 seems like a guy would have some serious bruising next day from shots like those, pinpointing the exact location of the alleged fair shots, no? Log in to Reply rightsaysfred April 13, 2013 buckled by a legal shot, but jesus Christ those last ones were homicidal Log in to Reply OscarMayhem April 13, 2013 Kenny and that other retard (who shall remain nameless) say shit about the elbows instead defending the terrible decision. The lights out elbow was right at the base of the head. We’re lucky not to have a spinal cord injury. Log in to Reply Carl April 13, 2013 Tons of elbows in the back of the head! Log in to Reply B-Real April 13, 2013 When did MMA fans become some technical nerds?! “Back of the head” or not, this a fight. He was out before the illegal hit, so it didn’t matter. That’s beside the point, of you’ve been in a fight, you’d agree that back of the head, sand in your eyes, biting, it’s all apart of a fight. Stop with the technical analyzation you dorks! Fight somebody, then see if it really matter to you anymore. Log in to Reply pangea12 April 13, 2013 It’s fighting yes, but it’s a sport with rules. Technical nerds? You mean understanding the rules? Yeah he was out before the shots but the ref stepped in after that so they are part of the match and therefore illegal. Does not matter which was the knockout blow they happened while the clock was running. Rules are rules not simple technicalities. Log in to Reply frodi April 13, 2013 WTF???? that ref is blind, almost every elbows were in the back of the head. Log in to Reply TheMartialArtArtist April 13, 2013 B-Real, be real “…..back of the head, sand in your eyes, biting, it’s all apart of a fight.” So I guess they should just bring knives and bats into the cage with them. Hey maybe even guns. This is a sport not a bar room brawl, there are rules for a reason. Think before you post a comment – in fact do everyone a favor and just don’t. Log in to Reply dragoman April 14, 2013 while i agree its a fight, moves that can cause permanent damage should not be allowed. knees to the head of a guy with the hand on the floor = no permenent damage shots to the back of the head / spine = forever Log in to Reply rockstarzee April 14, 2013 easy back of the head, and i could be wrong but i think a few of them were 12-6… Log in to Reply palimpalim April 14, 2013 just a few… ?!!! Log in to Reply John April 14, 2013 Tru – I’m from Bakersfield, also. What area? Hopefully you’ll come back and read these comments… Log in to Reply brown April 14, 2013 Bruddah Hapa, you rock, bu!!! Da legal elbows did the job so all is good! All you out there trying to make a thing out of it, stfu already. Log in to Reply ETK April 14, 2013 There was a fight recently where some tall heavyweight guy ko’d his opponent with the same thing, but he landed something like 20 elbows. I can’t recall the name of any of the fighters. A couple or a few months ago. Log in to Reply KungFuLowKick April 14, 2013 @B-Real You are a tard…There’s rules for a reason. Log in to Reply Matt April 14, 2013 @ ETK Patrick Cote? Log in to Reply Vigo April 14, 2013 Well, you’re not supposed to block elbows with the back of your head. Unless of course, you were already out. I think it was a late call by the ref, not a bad one. It happened so fast and I bet he wasn’t expecting the outcome as well. Log in to Reply Joe Dog April 15, 2013 Those were clearly illegal elbows that endangered Gonzaga’s health if not his life. Regardless of their timing in the fight, even if the illegal elbows were after the KO, Browne should be disqualified. People would have a different opinion if Gonzaga fell to the mat after a legal elbow or two and then Browne lined up and soccer kicked his head a few times while he was out. Or if he put him to sleep with a choke and then kneed his face while he was out cold. Not good. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
