Tom Atencio chats about his plans for Affliction 3, M1 Global’s involvement, how things are moving along with a Fedor Emelianenko vs. Josh Barnett match-up and hints at a major deal to be announced that will solidify Affliction’s presence in the fight game.

UFC 100 is July 11, which is 64 days away. I don’t understand how he Tom plans to counter program that event if he can’t even confirm the venue or fights they’re planning for that card. I want Affliction to succeed, because the more MMA the better, and Fedor vs Barnett would be awesome, but if they hope to make any sort of wake in the American MMA scene they better get their shit together.

this is a good point, people take the stability of the ufc for granted, consider that we know the fight cards, locations, and dates for the next 4 or 5 ufc events , imagine if atencio finishes it up and and gets his card out and ready to go head to head with ufc 100….101 and 102 are cocked and loaded in the chamber

He has no answer’s.
He has nothing.

Dana has from UFC 98-103 all ready confirmed.
They have several fights already made.
Dana takes big names, makes cards out then,
finds a place, gets them organized, an then makes the undercards.

Dana plays this game well.
He knows when an how to do things.

An its mainly cause, Dana is FULLY involved in what he’s doing
