Speaking of which… If I were to get a cheeto fat head I would have to paste it on the side of a barn. Log in to Reply 808beans May 1, 2013 No discrespect to tito, but there is no way he would have dominated Jon Jones in his prime. Log in to Reply Young May 1, 2013 Yea right Tito in his prime would have got done just like sonnen. He’s a one trick pony with a worn out trick. This fool is delusional Log in to Reply Young May 1, 2013 Yea right Tito in his prime would have got done just like sonnen. He’s a one trick pony with a worn out trick. This fool is delusional Log in to Reply christopherdorner May 1, 2013 I don’t believe Tito would have beaten Jones, but it would have been competitive thats for sure, anybody that thinks otherwise would be foolish. Tito is a huge 205er, probably could easily fight hw. Such a smart man, excellent manager, as well one of the best in the supplement industry, the only company I trust with my muscles in the gym Log in to Reply dmfh1981 May 1, 2013 …Tito is delusional Log in to Reply Drewington May 1, 2013 Who cares? Log in to Reply overhandriteonurchin May 1, 2013 Would love to see Jones face a prime Chuck or Tito.. Ino its testiment to how good hes is, why all his fights seem so easy. But great challengers bring the best outa great champions. Log in to Reply 2manylumpsindahead May 1, 2013 How do you know when someone has taking one too many lumps upside the head? When they think they can beat Jon Jones in their “prime”. He couldn’t even beat Randy Couture in his prime. He’s just mad that JJ broke his record. He’s still a hall of famer and a legend, so he gets respect. Log in to Reply TheViciousone May 1, 2013 Mr. Fu*Kin* EXCUSE. I cant wait for Jones to beat his record. I cant even stand Jones. Poor little Chicho. Once he loses that that what has he got left? Oh yeah a cracked out has been porn star just like him. Log in to Reply Joe Dog May 1, 2013 Woulda, coulda…nonsense! Log in to Reply TheViciousone May 1, 2013 Ohh and sorry, you guys say legend? The only time you should say legend with his name is when he got beat by a legend. Tito always has and always will be marketing fluff who knew how to wrestle when no else was using it. I mean who really has he beat?? He couldnt even beat Forest Fu*k*ng Griffin..haha.what a joke. She should take what recognition he gets from the blind masses and shut his mouth. Oh yeah, and f*c* your knee, neck, back, shoulder, toes, fingers, anus and whatever you cry about. All fighters fight with injuries. He just has to let everyone know. Log in to Reply Red Arrow May 1, 2013 Tito only won 1 time in his last 9 fights Log in to Reply MuffDiggler May 1, 2013 Its hard to hang ’em up. Log in to Reply marvelous mad madam mim May 1, 2013 jones sucks, cant KO anyone, cant finish from bottom, has shit standup with no power. all i can say is it must suck knowing you bot bitch power Log in to Reply jdogg May 1, 2013 Remember what Chuck Liddell did to him their first fight? Multiply that x10 to see what Jones would have done to him. Log in to Reply ericsson May 1, 2013 come on taco-bell stop dreaming Log in to Reply sooooopernate May 1, 2013 That’s insane. Jones beat Shogun for the belt, and defended against Rampage, Lyoto, Rashad, Vitor, and Chael to defend it. Finishing all but Rashad, but he was holding back. I mean Jones DEEEE STROOYYYED Hamil, and we know how Cheeto v Hamil went. Tito’s streak by comparison: Wandy for the belt (impressive at the time) Yuki Kondo, Evan Tanner, Elvis Sinosic, The janitor, and Ken Shamrock. The level of competition is SO different now, which is why Jones is touted as being the GOAT for light heavies already. dmfh1981 said it best: Tito is delusional. Log in to Reply tobes May 1, 2013 Jones would have destroyed Tito in his prime. He is a MUCH better wrestler, MUCH better grappler and MUCH better striker (overall MUCH better fighter). Jones is the greatest LHW of all time – he’d beat Couture and Liddell in their primes as well. Tito just has sour grapes that’s he’s not relevant. And to try to take away from Jones’ success with his comments is just childish Log in to Reply Joe Dog May 1, 2013 Delusional and not too bright, it seems. Log in to Reply Shanks May 1, 2013 I see nothing wrong with what Tito said. I don’t agree with him like most people but… he was asked “You in your prime, JJ right now in his prime, who wins?” What was he supposed to say… no I’d get my ass beat? He’s a fighter… and not just any fighter but someone who’s practically dedicated his whole life to this craft, fought at the highest level at one time and held the championship. Guys like that don’t easily admit they would get their ass beat… even if deep down inside they know it would happen. Log in to Reply Ointment May 1, 2013 When was Tito’s prime? When he was a huge LHW beating MWs, most of which would have a hard time getting a single win in today’s UFC. Log in to Reply FailSonnen May 1, 2013 Prime Chuck would have a better chance. Prime Belfort too. Tito looses heart when the cards are against him in the octagon Also Prime Mas Oyama 😛 Log in to Reply ajitator May 1, 2013 LOL.. tito lost to chuck during his prime.. LOL.. this fool has delusions of grandeur. Log in to Reply homer May 2, 2013 i bet he thinks his wife is’nt a whore either Log in to Reply ChaelPSonnen May 2, 2013 What do you guys expect him to say… “Yah Jon would whoop my ass”? The man was a professional fighter for most of his life, of course he thinks he can beat him. Log in to Reply unclegrick May 2, 2013 I envy people like Cheeto with delusions of grandeur. A lot of people at the upper levels got there from simply being oblivious to their limitations. Log in to Reply Facefrack May 2, 2013 Good call, Shanks. Tito was a beast in his prime. One of the things that inspires me most about MMA is the incredible development that the whole sport has gone through over the last 15 years. Fighters have been uncovering new means of demolition n developing all kinds of new skills. A few years back, people used to look at Lyoto Machida with awe n talk about solving the puzzle he presented. When Tito started fighting, the only other guy (that I’m aware of) who had really fully developed Ground n Pound was Mark Coleman, but Tito used it even more effectively than Mark did n became champion. The question of whether Tito would have been able to beat Bones in his prime is a poorly formulated question. A much better question would be whether Tito, training with Greg Jackson and Mike Winkeljohn n a gym full of champion-level fighters instead of training Tank Abbott. So much more is understood nowadays about what works n what doesn’t, what skills are worth developing n how to put all of them together to create a great fighter. Tito did great things for the sport in his day, but Bones is a totally deserving champion. Bones would win easily, but this doesn’t belittle Tito in the least. Log in to Reply Facefrack May 2, 2013 Correction: A much better question would be whether Tito, training with Greg Jackson and Mike Winkeljohn in a gym full of champion-level fighters instead of training Tank Abbott in his mom’s basement could have helped him to become the caliber of fighter who could beat Jon Jones. Log in to Reply takedown212000 May 2, 2013 Tito would have killed him. He was and will always be the greatest LHW UFC fighter ever. Jones sucks. Anderson would kill Bones Log in to Reply hightakes May 2, 2013 @marvelous mad madam mim YOUR AN IDIOT he has finished all his fights??? retard Log in to Reply takedown212000 May 2, 2013 @hightakes he didnt finish Rashad Log in to Reply kryptonite May 2, 2013 he couldnt put the cat out Log in to Reply mma made easy May 2, 2013 no. Just no. Not even if he drugged him first. A prime Chuck, on the other hand… hmm… Log in to Reply mmafan11 May 3, 2013 Tito in his prime got beat up by a smaller Frank Shamrock. For the Chuck Nut Huggers Chuck got K the **** Out in his prime by Rampage in their first fight in Japan in the Pride Grand Prix. Neither could beat a good Heavy Weight like Jones but the elite Heavy Weights probably KO Jones. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
