Tito Ortiz, the manager of Cris ‘Cyborg’ Santos, questions Ronda Rousey’s belt, and feels Cyborg makes the better fight than Rousey vs. Carmouche.
“For a woman to cut that much weight – you’ve go to understand, she’s small. She’s cutting from 170 down trying to make 135, that’s a big, big, big, big cut. That’s a lot for a woman to cut. And it’s just health reasons when it comes down to it. We want to see an exciting fight. Do it at 140-pounds, I think that would make the best difference.”
wow.. i was really confused. I hate Tito, but I also hate Ronda. Hmmmm.. But I hate Ronda more and I could not agree more with Tito.

Tito was my favorite fighter over a decade ago. Brought mass appeal and PPV buys to this sport we love. Yet, he’s another forefather of MMA that gets no respect.
As far Cyborg goes, lose some muscle mass, and you may be able to shed those extra pounds. Right now there is no featherweight women’s division, and this is the fight everyone wants to see. A catchweight bout would not include the title, so why bother.
Oh, and I’m a Ronda fan, too.

I tell you what tito may be mildly retarded, but he’s got a point. Cyborg holds a streak longer than Fedor, and she’s never gone to decision. How can they place a belt on Ronda. She’s cute sure, but she’s probably got more testosterone in her than Cyborg.

I do believe that Ronda realized that if she stayed at 145lbs, that eventually she would have to fight Cyborg. I don’t think Ronda wants to fight Cyborg at 140 because she knows that Cyborg will be 100 percent. @135 especially knowing that she will have a tough weight cut, she would be able to expolit that and use it to her advantage knowing cyborg will not be 100 percent. We all know that cyborg wants to fight Ronda, but do you really think Ronda wants to fight Cyborg? Talk is talk, but i think there is a little fear in Rousey on the inside when it comes to stepping up to a challenge like cyborg.

The only way Ronda has more testosterone in her than Cyborg, is if she’s getting drilled by some dude’s meat pipe. Cyborg is borderline dude all by herself and probably sports a little ding dong with all those roids she has taken.
If Rousy were honest she would say she was happy Cyborg tested positive instead of the fake outrage. My wife is a (natural) competitive figure/body builder and it’s no joke what Tito is saying. It’s something that should be monitored much more closely with women.
Rhonda may be a natural at 135 (not much cutting to get there) but she has happily competed at 145 and the idea that Cyborg with her walk around weight being much higher, should get there is stupid. And this has little to do with peds…she’s a bigger woman.
So I don’t really even blame Rhonda for not doing catch! It just sucks that for whatever reason, 145 and 135 are the only women weights with a chance of getting a fight. The steroid talk is stupid because Cyborg could kick the crap out of any women—even those above 200. Bullshit hat women wit their harder cuts are effectively completely excluded from pro fights if they can’t cut to 145 (and even that weight is being wiped now)
We may want to see those fights but if you are in the champs shoes with major endorsements you want to win and keep your belt. Its retarded to think that Ronda should move to fight some chick who just tested hot for roids. Ronda is the champ at that weight it makes no sense at all to go anywhere else
Ronda came over with a belt, plain and simple. You couldn’t give Cyborg the belt, how would that look for the UFC coming directly off a suspension for roids? I am one that bucks the system and actually likes Ronda and Tito, I think Tito picked the wrong fighter to manage though. Ronda is more than gracious giving her a shot at 135 and if the weight cut is that unhealthy due to her roided up body that’s not Ronda’s fault. Tito has to stand up for his fighter though.

The steroid talk is not stupid at all…When a women is introducing males hormones in her body,then looks like a hybrid of a male and a female,it’s not stupid to mention her steroid use.Cyborg shouldn’t even be allowed to fight womens unles they are tansexuals like her.
