Look, I don’t like Sylvia and I enjoyed watching him get dropped, but this trash talking isn’t making Mercer look any better. Bottom line, any boxer who has knockout power like Mercer will knock an MMA guy out with a punch like that. Everyone knows that, but Sylvia looked like the Stay Puffed Marshmallow man and stood right in front of him. Lame. I don’t see how this hurts MMA, it’s just a joke. Canseco looked more MMA than either of these guys in this fight.

Ray Mercer has been in some vicious battles with heavy punching big men.
See the Mercer vs Lewis fight.
I was surprised to see, that at his age, Mercer still loves to knock people out, and he goes for the kill.
Notice the way he went after Sylvia after Sylvia was out cold.
Mercer went for the kill against Tommy Morrison the way I’ve never seen anybody go for the kill.
Sylvia thought he could walk through Mercer’s punches. He must have thought Mercer is washed up. He found out different. Maybe Mercer is finished with championship level heavyweight boxing. But of course he can still throw bricks.

Sylvia trained his ass off for the fedor fight.. he did not train for this fight at all. He walked into the cage weighing 310 pounds. He was fat and slow.

Ray Mercer is just a 44 year old boxer who still wants to fight. He just knocked out an ex MMA champ that was on top last year. He was tired during the interview because he ran around the cage like a 12 year old kid at christmas.

Tim Sylvia is a moron for not training.. But cut him some slack, hes not washed up..

Ray Mercer still wants to fight, why bash a guy who has the heart to still do what he loves.

And oh ya Ray mercer was one of the best heavyweights in history. Hes has fought Lewis,Tyson,Holyfield omong many more. He was known as a stepping stone for younger up and coming boxers. You had to be Ray if you thought you were a contender for a title. Hes only been knocked out once in his entire boxing life. And thar was when he was 44 years old against Gliskgo or how ever spell his name. And it was stopped to early to boot. And Tim S. has always been a very overrated fighter. Randy proved that and sent his ass packing right out of the UFC. Fedor overrated UFC #1. And put that in your pipe and smoke. Brock would crush Fedor thats why he is staying put fighting has beens or never would be’s.
