Seriously… what is this? This was a pro wrestling match that had standing 8 counts for two knockdowns and then on the third one, the ref lets the guy get on top of him and pound the back of his head? I don’t get what this match was supposed to be… that was not professional wrestling and was not like MMA either…

You guys don’t get it, it’s a pro wrestling match mma style. It’s not done for competition, it’s done to entertain. It’s lame to us but Japanese fans love this kind of stuff. That’s why Rampage started howling and why Anderson Silva started dancing to his fights in Pride. It adds a bit of theatrics to it and they love it. Japanese pro-wrestling is a big deal there, many of the greats did it back in the day like Barnett and Bas Rutten, the Shamrock’s. Like Elsquanto said, they love theatrics with their combat sports; look at Sakuraba, Genki Sudo, “Jienotsu” Nagashima. All legit fighters, but they play around. It pays the bills, especially when your paycheck isn’t coming the UFC as a professional fighter.

Yeah Brock is a sports entertainer and you could see Allister was surprized by Brocks lack of effort? Brock seen the top as a Wresrtler at Minn. And he has millions of more $$$ than the reem being in the W.W.E. To me this is all this was and it’s disapointing, two dudes fighting one dude is already ultra set up, and has no intention to fight. Just the look on Reems face? He is expecting brutal; stong takedown attempts buy a super strong opponent instead he gets an easy win no contest?
