I made exactly the same comment on junkie. I’m surprised neither Florian nor Anik seemed to notice that Nedkov is totally gassed. And yes – it looked to me like Carwin vs Lesnar 2nd round.

Great win Thiago. I think he was winning the fight the whole time, except when he got knocked down in the 2nd round. Good Win, I knew once he took him down he was going to get submitted.

i like thiago very disappointing fight from him if the other guy wasn’t gassed he would have struggled doesn’t look the same fighter he was will struggle against the better fighters fact.

Thiago used to be my favorite fighter and for some reason I see his game stagnant and not improving skill wise as much as he should. The sky used to be his limit, now I don’t know what to think, for some reason I don’t feel he is as intimidating in the cage as back in the day.

thiago’s got heart! all the other guy did was holding him lol I thought he sucked! he can be a good fighter but he just holds and does nothing, while thiago was hitting him with shots non stop.

Thiago dominated the whole fight minus getting knocked down at the end of round 2.

Nedcov was holding Thiago against the cage most of the fight but doing nothing with it. Thiago was doing the only damage from that position.

I also didn’t see much improvement, and Stanislav’s game is so limited, I mean, everytime is the same, the typical wrestlker-clinch-head-down-throw wild-punches, Thiago should have used upper kicks and uppercuts and walked laterally to stay out of range, and yes, the leg kicks at least were right but should have done them better. Also more knees from the clinch. It’s so so obvious but se didn’t use it so I see not a much better team management here.
Good time for a victory for Thiago now, btw.

Nice finish Thiago was a better fighter in standing up and on the ground but not on the clinch. I thought Thiago won the first round the guy just hold him Thiago took his virginity 12-1 Thiago is a top ten lightheavyweight.
