It has nothing to do with luck at my fight in the sts competition i fought an extremely good guy eveyrone thought this guy was gonna kill me but he couldnt take me out i survived an gave him the best fight i was in a bad spot at one point then i almost won by submission and my arm died out an he got me, you absolutley right it aint about luck alves jus happen to fall into it,an of course hes gonn a wrestle with alves this is mma doesnt f****** matter you gotta keep fighting an do what ever it takes to wore your oponent down an beat him an leave that cage with a win, even if u lose u learn something i bet alves did here

It always cracks me up when people think that a fighter who pulls off a submission got LUCKY!!! My god people, wake the f@ck up…Luck has absolutely nothing to do with it. Way to hang in there Kampmann. If you think it was luck, check out the picture of Martin’s face looking into the camera right after Alves taps. Does that look like the face of someone who got LUCKY, or the face of someone who would not be denied his VICTORY!

Just wondering if you ever considered putting up the footage between rounds in the corners? Maybe it’s just me but I enjoy watching the fighters in the corners with their trainers.

Bruno: I don’t upload the vids. I just link to them. The reason you don’t see all the extras on the fights is because most of the vid hosting sites have time limits plus it makes the files much larger.

Are you an idiot??1st of all Martin is a mixed martial artist not a kickboxer.And 2nd of course he will wrestle Alves,the better striker,because ach time he threw a combo,Alves blocked it and countered with power punches that hurt Martin.Martin landed 1 good front kick the the chin for tons of power shots on the head.Of course he will grapple with a guy if Martian has an advantage.You are truely idiot.

reminds me of mir/nogueira 2. big mistake. Not a fluke though martin looked amazing in the 1st round before he got taken down. That was the second most devastating front kick i’ve seen in ufc. Alves looked as good as ever but damn was that dumb!

I think most people had Alves winning this fight, but like the old saying goes, “Never leave it in the hands of the judges” thiago may have believed it was 19-19 heading into the 3rd and needed a big exclamation point to finish round. Kampman’s a very dangerous fighter and took advantage of an ill-timed takedown. Thiago will be back and no one will think any less of him by this loss!
