When I first saw Mazzaggatti was reffing this fight I was like “OH Shit! Something bad might happen again” (referring to the Brock Lesnar fight.) And GUESS WHAT!!! IT FUCKING DID

As much as I hate Karo (for being an arrogant S.O.B. as seen in TUF), it was an early stoppage IMO. He can take a punch and the refs know that… Mazzagatti should take him and his molester mustache to the WWE

He wasn’t out. Still had his hands up, took one, maybe two clean shots. Karo may have still lost but still, the stoppage was early. But what can we do? Cie La Vie.

If you know anything about MMA or how a knockout works, you’ll know that this stoppage was legit.

Karo was out, he would have just been knocked out completely and possibly given brain damage had Alves been allowed to continue raining down blows.

Holding your hand limply to the side of your face while on all fours dazed after collapsing like a ton of bricks doesn’t really do much to convince a ref that you’re still in it.
