Look up the history of Akido and you will realize it is a bunch of BS. Basically there was jiu jitsu dude who was friends with a cult spiritual leader. He took the cult BS and added it to Jiu Jitsu then removed sparring, because he didnt want people to get hurt using the “GENTLE ART!” Its a load of f****** bs. I personally dismantled a second degree akido black belt with nearly 80 pounds on me as a newly promoted blue belt.
