@ Jinrod. You are correct. There two season showing simultaneously. Tuf Brazil is broadcast exclusively in Brazil I believe. I may be wrong but it sure seems to be driven towards a different audience than Tuf.

Has anyone ever seen a guillotine like the one pulled off around the 25 min mark? Strange variation, with his left arm threaded completely through to the armpit. Almost like an Anaconda but with his hands grasped instead. I’m glad we get this avenue to see what is growing organically in Brazil these days.

Jindod you can catch itt every Sunday on TUF.TV to the point it is definitly worth a watch the Talent level seems head and heals higher than the TUF Live this season.

Yeah, one is an american show, one is a us one…however the american one has fighters from around the world…so I don’t get the point.

Personally I thought the american fighters looked better…but that’s just me I guess.

Great time for MMA. I like both US and Brasil shows they both had a number of knock outs and submissions.

I watched this last night. It is mind blowing how much better the Talent is than TUF Live almost to the point where our product is embarrassing.

We got some issues with a “enemy” broadcasting here in Brazil. Actually there’s this Religion TV here that is completely against MMA(and it’s “violence”), and is trying to spoil the show. They just published the 4 finalists of the brasilian show… DW is pissed to hell and Nova União decided and claimed other brasilian professionals not to give any interviews or even speak to Record(Religion TV). Well, we know who the 4 finalists are, unfortunatelly. I’ll watch the show, but I’m so frustrated to know the outtings.

I liked “Jason” and Vina but for some reason,I want to see them get tapped out.It’s maybe the huge Jiu-Jitsu tatoo they have on their backs haha.

I love a good defensive struggle like that last fight, where both fighters are blocking each others strikes with their faces.

sick show, by the way. the level of talent is very high. aggressive, well trained athletes with sick ground skills. much better than the USA version, Im afraid to admit. less reality show, more cage fighting & training….hopefully. that would be my recipe for success, but what do I know.

@KungFuLowKick and El Tabasco: It’s the same TV that’s owned by a “bishop” who was caught on camera counting his parish’s money and telling his preachers that in his church “you either pay or you go to hell.” (“Ou da’ ou desce!” pros brasileiros de plantao).
Religion is a “blessing” indeed.

I know alot of good people who are religious.But it looks like every priest,bishop,cardinal,etc has something shady about them.And it’s always the ones who preach the most that get caught doing the worst things.Like the guy in the USA who was an ultra christian guy who had a “pray away the gay” clinic,he got caught later doing drugs with male hookers…

The thing that most impresses me about this show is how each fighter is fighting for his city or town…The brazilian fighters don’t just fight for themselves. They represent their particular region of Brazil and fight for the honor of their area…AMAZING!!! This show makes the US Version on FX look like the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey MMA Circus!!! These Brazilian fighters have heart and utmost respect for 1 another. They make our American fighters look like clowns.
