The only thing I can think of is that Martin is so short that a usual left kick to the thigh would hit Martin in the go-nads. Because that guy did have decent hands and as the fight went on Daiju was doing better and better.

I thought the japanese guy was going to KO terry with a left high kick to the head..he kept setting him up with low kicks and terry kept dropping his right hand…terry is very vulnerable to strikes and while he has power and good wrestling he’s very predictable..you’d never think he sub’d anderson silva but he did and in a pretty dominating fashion…

Absolutely no class! Even if they were accidental, how in the hell can you throw a fit for a fight being stopped when you kicked a guy in the balls three times? I think he’s minimizing how bad that actually hurts and how much damage that could potentially cause (ruptured testicle). How about letting Martin get a free punch at his nuts. It would have been hilarious if Martin purposely tagged him below the belt, that is, after the third time Takase hit him. I don’t know about you guys, but I tend to think that when someone is struggling like hell to take his opponent down and then illegally kicks them in the groin three times, that probably they are doing it on purpose, especially considering the fact that he hit Terry illegally after the bell as well. I think it’s safe to say that Takase is a dirty fighter.

Takase is tough but nowhere near awesome. He was clearly frustrated with Martin’s superior standup. Great fight, and an even greater fight to watch live. Terry’s bodyshots sounded like sledgehammers hitting a tire. Can’t wait for his next fight vs Vitor Belfort. Should be fireworks!

yeah, i think they should ammend the rules. 1st ball shot = warning. 2nd ball shot = 2 point deduction… and 3rd nutt cracker = no end to the fight, but instead another 2 points and a retribution penalty field goal attempt.. Free Shot in the Junk! then let the fight continue if he can walk or not!
