Tank used to be the baddest man in the world when that title had a meaning. I saw him fight before the UFC even existed. He used to be known as “plan B.” whenever a fighter got hurt or chickened out before a fight, they just said “go get Tank at the bar!”
The best part is, he never said “no.” there is a story that they actually got him out of a bar for a UFC event. Some friends told me he smelled like stale beer when he arrived.
Tank is not a very skilled fighter, but even fat and old he never fakes a fight. He is brawler and he doesn’t belong in MMA as a sport. But for vale-tudo fighters and streetfighters, he will always be one of the greatest nonetheless. Fearless mothafucka with a bad intent.
