Gomi looked outstanding, especially in that 3rd round. Not to discount Danzig, he looked good, too.

Agree completely. Gomi rallied in the third, but up until then the fight was all Danzig. Thats why they say not to leave it in the hands of the judges. Nonetheless, good for Gomi, he fought hard and didnt gas (too bad).

@JB & @SocraticMMA: Completely disagree, I don’t know how the fight wasn’t scored 29-28 for Gomi by all 3 judges. Gomi easily won the 1st and 3rd.

Close fight but a robbery is an extreme exaggeration. I share the same opinion ‘ufc insider’ has.
Gomi landed more shots while backing him up most of the fight. It’s pretty straightforward. If it wasn’t for the take-down it would have been a sweep imo.

Gomi did much better than his previews fights, they both both fought hard but gomi did more damage and more strikes.
