I am not a Mayweather fan at all you guys. I learned by watching that he is good. His guard allows him to stay covered up and he strikes only when someone is vulnerable. This is great in a street fight or something not for entertainment. But, for entertainment and the love of the sport, Sugar Ray brought it. He boxed to bring a fight and so do many other boxers. Other boxers can turtle up and win fight, but it does not keep people interested in the sport. My generation sucks for boxers. That is why we have MMA. Thanks for the conversation guys, but don’t assume anyone’s personal beliefs. I simply said Mayweather was lightning fast. When he strikes it comes outta nowhere and the opponent feels it. Sugar Ray, I know he was old here and I did not think of that.

When I was 16 years old I was in Las Vegas for a week in the Summer. I was taking an elevator down and it stopped. In comes a little dude in a sweat suit that said “Macho Camacho” on the back. It was 1980′s and I knew who he was then.

Just because boxing historians honor Robinson as the best ever doesn’t give you the right to regurgutate this useless info without even knowing anything about the boxers you’re referring to. Leonard is a legend, and Camacho was a true champion. No need to discredit either one. Equally, Mayweather as much as there vaild reasons to dislike him has shown no signs of being “smoked” by any boxer alive or dead.

He had a style that was controversial, so what.
I say “Very entertaining and a very good boxer”
He was part of the era’s that made boxing worth

And, sadly, you must re-read the article, there were 10 bags of coke in the car, 9 were on the other person, one “open in the car” and likely just used by both. I wouldn’t want to leave this world high or drunk, that’s terrible. It should be a wake up call for addicts.
Camacho had class at the end of the fight, he was speechless and gave Leonard the mic. He was a good guy. I met him and his son a few years back, and he was like a perennial 19 yo kid inside. Maybe that was his downfall.

@Powertele I know its human nature to think your generation is the best but that is not the case.Suger ray was lighting fast in his prime,if mayweather would have had to face guys like ray,hagler and duran you can bet he would not have the record he does.
