my bad… Masvidal suffered ligament damage not a fracture. he’s out for six weeks.

I heard Masvidal came in with a right hand injury then fractured it in the fight. This makes alot of sense why he hardly threw it. an ijury like that will definately take a fighter out of his game. As for why Masvidal didn’t look banged up… well, I saw the fight again and yes he was getting tagged here and there but alot were blocked and he was slipping during the punches so they never landed flush. I also heard that Melendez had a foot injury. I would like to see this fight again with both fighters healthy. I still think it would be a great fight.

I’m wondering if Gilbert is on any blood thinners like aspirin, apparently that makes you more susceptible to getting marked up. On the flip side, Jorge really didn’t show any damage at all, even though he got tagged all night. Weird.

Thanks bruno. So..who does GM fight next. Bring some talent from ufc to him? Cause i don’t see him going to the ufc anytime soon, unless ufc wants sf to go bye bye and die. Saw an article on mmafighting about bj penn going to sf to fight GM. I rather liked that idea. sf needs new talent..shits getting stale.
