@KungFuLowKick Dana has alluded to getting Gilbert into the UFC. i.e. saying he’s talked to him, been looking at his contract, and talking to SF people. Dana isn’t going to say if he’s waiting for the contract to be over. Dana is probably waiting to see how this Dec. fight goes, and then will make his move. He’s brought most champions, Diaz, Overeem, Shields, Hendo, over from SF, so it would be odd to exclude Melendez.

Gilbert is a really bright dude. I hope he does well in his career. Masvidal will be a tough test.
