MMA Sleeper? I would say in terms of people being aware, of what great fighters are coming out of Strikeforce, is that Mousasi is the biggest sleeper. Probably because he hasn’t fought previous to his last bout in awhile.

But F*#k Sigal, what a wanabe

bigbob Says, in 1-17-2013 at 14:41:29 from

man was segul standing on something
he looks like 6`5 in that pic

I respect Cormiers skill. Thats it where my love stops.

Cain, JDS, Struve, Reem would all handle him with ease,

I would even put Nelson and Werdum in the same bracket as been able to beat him..

Not excited about seeing him in the UFC i would have rather seen Josh in the UFC and yes i know they fought and i know the result, just saying.

yoyo Says, in 1-17-2013 at 15:04:29 from

He wasn’t standing on anything, he’s 6’4″.

ultimate fighter Says, in 1-17-2013 at 15:14:38 from

going to see cormier add the crane kick to his impressive arsenal of weapons

Segul is a tall dude! 6″5″ there bigbob!

DonDonDon Says, in 1-17-2013 at 15:22:01 from

If you follow anything steven seagalooser says the man wants credit, thats it. He apparently taught anderson the finer points of kicking and also worked with lyoto. This guy wants to be back in the spotlight so bad he thinks he needs shades. Stay in your fictional movies sensei cause i don’t believe he deserves credit and attention he’s getting for claiming to be an mma mastermind. He is the equivalent of trainer greg jackson hopping from one prospect to another.

options2u Says, in 1-17-2013 at 15:28:47 from

DonDon.. just let the man do his thing.. you’re not saying anything new here. I think he brings another color of entertainment to MMA. TO each there own.

shitface Says, in 1-17-2013 at 15:29:29 from

Now we know Cormier will beat Mir by ko.

Steven segal is a joke…. i would LOVE to see ronda rousey kick his ass!

gene labelle Says, in 1-17-2013 at 16:15:22 from

he still takes credit for the machida kick and the anderson silva//// anderson even said after that fight he trained very little with steven… and why is he wearing glasses lol what a tool… did he just compare daniel cormier to ronda rousey??

jdogg Says, in 1-17-2013 at 16:18:14 from

Cormier should fight Roy Nelson first to see if he’s legit.

Newfie Jitsu Says, in 1-17-2013 at 16:20:58 from

Seagal is a martial artist indeed but no MIXED martial artist. i would PAY BIG BUCKS to see him spar with a real mixed martial artist! that’s my own opinion on Seagal that i had to throw out there.

Joe Dog Says, in 1-17-2013 at 16:40:26 from

Highlights of 2012, Mr Seagal? Machida KOed Couture and Silva KOed Belfort in 2011.

Meat Drapes Says, in 1-17-2013 at 17:32:31 from

Seagal has nothing to offer DC. DC is a top 5 HW fighter Seagal is a fat washed up action movie star who does bullshido martial arts.

danada Says, in 1-17-2013 at 18:13:32 from

Cormier has the same body type as Fedor. It would probably be a really difficult cut to 205, but 5’10 is really short for a heavyweight. If he can get it done, all the power to him, but he’s not making his road any easier. At least he still sort of has youth on his side.

T’Challa Says, in 1-17-2013 at 18:57:58 from

Funny… DC calls out Jon Jones, and now Seagal wants to work with him. Remember, Jones turned down Seagal’s request to be in his corner not long after he won the title.

I think Seagal using MMA to promote himself is funny as hell..it just adds to the craziness and excitement that is the MMA business.

Rico Suave Says, in 1-17-2013 at 19:28:00 from

Seagal isn’t a has been, he’s a never was! these guys need to quite giving him the time of day, Seagal is just looking to jump on the jock of the next up and comer!

daaveeee Says, in 1-17-2013 at 19:29:01 from

Typical Seagal trying to get in the spot light, cormier is a friend of his….yea right

tobes Says, in 1-17-2013 at 22:54:20 from

what was your favourite moment of 2012? “well I don’t really follow the sport too much… I just want to be famous again… so I’ll name 2 highlights from 2011 that are related to me”

TheKungFuLowKick Says, in 1-17-2013 at 23:01:23 from

He wrestled at 205 but got health problems(I think his kidneys)because of weight cutting. He did make 205 but I don’t know if he will try again since he had health issues.

bodylock Says, in 1-17-2013 at 23:11:38 from

@TheKungFuLowKick Cormier wrestled at 211.5 pounds, 96 kg. Your right about him suffering kidney issues at the 2008 olympics.

I disagree with anyone who says Cormier would get handled by JDS, Cain, etc. He’s instantly the best wrestler in the UFC, with ever improving hands. The man moves like a light heavyweight. I think He’ll tear mir apart in 2 rounds.

MuayThai CareBear Says, in 1-17-2013 at 23:59:22 from

D.C. has already called out Jon Jones. After knocking out Mir, he is going down to LHW. He won’t stay in HW since he is Cain’s Buddy.

jona Says, in 1-18-2013 at 04:55:37 from

ktktk Says, in 1-18-2013 at 13:40:03 from

Did anyone notice that Seagal’s two highlights from 2012 took place in 2011???

Amosaback Says, in 1-18-2013 at 15:02:57 from

Cormier is a sleeper only to people who sleep on MMA.

Sometimes I wonder is Anderson is hosting Seagal in a Dinner-for-Shmucks scenario.

Cormier has huge potential in the UFC. His only real drawback is that he’s small (even at light heavyweight).

mmafan11 Says, in 1-18-2013 at 21:51:38 from

sensei Seagal will be teaching the tenth dan flying crane kick which he can’t do any more because of the buffets sensei has been beating up.

The flying crane kick is a secret kick that sensei recently revealed to the world after his buffet desert.

Cormier is practising to achieve the tenth dan seagal certification.

Anderson Silva is only at the 9.5 dan level thats why he does not fly when he front kicks sensei is still teaching him.

sensei is the second greatest fighter of all time after Chuck Norris.

Steve gotti Says, in 1-19-2013 at 02:18:48 from

He sure do have some purtty lips on him.

lou Says, in 1-20-2013 at 00:13:58 from

Teach Daniel how wrestle jus like you taught Spider how to do a front kick. Next you can show Usain Bolt how to run or maybe Pacino how to act?
