Stephen Wonderboy Thompson vs Dan Stittgen Behind The Scenes At UFC 143.
Wow,that head kick was all technique,no wind up or follow through..just up and snap, nice!
dude is the man that brazil kick was wicked
great technique, twas a pretty kick.
Give him siyar bahadurzabadababda (if he beats paulo) and see what happens when Kickboxing meets Karate 2012
he’s super exciting
i’m charmed
You can tell this kid has a genuinely good heart, unlike other whom you can tell are presenting a facade. *coughjonjonescough*
Stephen is indeed how he presents on this video. I live 10 minutes from Upstate Karate and have trained with him a few times. He’s a solid guy who I hope goes far in the UFC. South Carolina is so ignorant of this sport, and I’m relieved to have a guy like him bring it to the light. Also, after training with him it was clear how bad I suck and any dreams I had of becoming a fighter were mocked….and we were just doing drills.
“Wonderboy is the best striker I’ve seen in my life” GSP
What is with that photo. It looks like he drank a glass of red Koolaid.
That winning flip to pose is god like!
seems like a genuinely great guy. Not gonna lie I have a lot of concerns with his stance when fighting but needless to say that was a wonderful kick one of the best i have ever seen.
@MMAGiantSilva: “Not gonna lie I have a lot of concerns with his stance when fighting.” It’s how he baits his opponents to do what he wants. It’s like GSP with the faint TDs. Wonderboy has pretty decent JJ, too. I think that, if he is learning some wrestling with GSP, this kid has everything to be champion later on in the game. Of course there are many great fighters that can test him, especially in mixing up wrestling, ground, and stand up, but he has tons of experience, he is training with some of the best, and he just doesn’t know how to lose.
one great fight in the ufc, lets give him time before we call him the next big thing
It seems to be either a karate or tkd stance. he probably has a background in tkd cause he has his hands a bit low and presents a side profile
His brother-in-law is Carlos Machado, cousin of Gracie.
@drunkentigah His background isn’t tae kwon don’t, its kenpo/kickboxing. He did a lot of point sparring growing up and fought in WCL. In 2006 he was called the best kickboxer in the world by, that’s right – Chuck Norris.
@kaobeto
Nice I didn’t knew that. That means he probably has some good BJJ.I already knew he was a good grappler because you can’t become pro with no grapplnig. But Carlos is a great fighter and coach.
