Dude, you sir are an idiot. What Twana just said is absolutely correct.

In this situation, Bonnar had nothing to bring to the table, his best bet was to try and wrestle him to the ground and G&P. Lyoto’s stand-up is top notch, been in Karate since since sperm. He was completely outclassed in the stand-up game, hence why Twana was saying, why would he try?

The main reason Lyoto is effective is his takedown defense and footwork. He is rare breed. In earlier days of the UFC karate guys were man handled. So I don’t agree with Twana.

It is stupid for an MMA fighter to stand up with a Karate practitioner in a stand up match…. Karate Practitioner train for so many years…straight very quick punches.. in and out quick…sudden… MMA fighter can never reach that level of a Karate practitioner.
