I like Bonnar but he isn’t an ambassador for the sport.He is an ambassador for the UFC on free TV.Big difference.Royce Gracie,Sakuraba,Liddell,Couture,Hughes,etc are ambassadors.

I remember when he was a regular on MMA Live I always called him the shifty eyed dog, cuz he was just so akward and seemed uncomfortable in front of the camera….he seems to be settling down a bit, he’ll make a good commentator when he hangs up the gloves

Like dogpitt said, Bonnar is a great ambassador for the sport. And I have HUGE respect for him for honestly and openly admitting he was wrong — and moving on. Very few people have that level of candor and integrity.

As for the Rampage mention, I could’ve swore Bonnar’s body language was like “what the hell, I’ll get the sh*t beat out of me for some mad $$$.” Standing, Rampage isn’t a good fight for Bonnar, and Rampage’s wrestling is likely to defend against any takedowns. Rampage +220?

Bonnar is a natural, no one has been able to knock him out and Rampage won’t be the first, Rampage’s wrestling is the only thing that can win him the fight, and that will be hard considering Bonnar has sick jitsu. Interesting and even fight on paper.
