Despite sounding like a surfer duuuuuuude, he’s a really likeable guy and an ambassador to the sport.
Respect Mr Bonnar!

It was pretty impressive how easily he dominated Kingsbury and I think he would give Rampage problems. I think Rampage would end up catching him, but Bonnar should great ground game and a lot strength to control Kingsbury like that.

Bonnar’s fights are always fun to watch, never speculation but agression and entertaining instead, never conservative but always pushing forward. Hats off to the guy

Bonnar is a natural, no one has been able to knock him out and Rampage won’t be the first, Rampage’s wrestling is the only thing that can win him the fight, and that will be hard considering Bonnar has sick jitsu. Interesting and even fight on paper.

Like dogpitt said, Bonnar is a great ambassador for the sport. And I have HUGE respect for him for honestly and openly admitting he was wrong — and moving on. Very few people have that level of candor and integrity.

As for the Rampage mention, I could’ve swore Bonnar’s body language was like “what the hell, I’ll get the sh*t beat out of me for some mad $$$.” Standing, Rampage isn’t a good fight for Bonnar, and Rampage’s wrestling is likely to defend against any takedowns. Rampage +220?

I remember when he was a regular on MMA Live I always called him the shifty eyed dog, cuz he was just so akward and seemed uncomfortable in front of the camera….he seems to be settling down a bit, he’ll make a good commentator when he hangs up the gloves

Rampage wrestling is the only thing that can win him the fight… Really?
I don’t have the words.. This sounds like the Matt hamil thing all over again…

This is a good guy. Plain and simple…and he can fight too.

KungFuLowKick Says, in 11-22-2011 at 18:05:08 from

I like Bonnar but he isn’t an ambassador for the sport. He is an ambassador for the UFC on free TV.Big difference.Royce Gracie,Sakuraba,Liddell,Couture,Hughes, etc are ambassadors.

I would love to see Bonner VS. Rampage (yes I said Bonner)….but only a stand up war, no grappling…

SinkTheHooks Says, in 11-24-2011 at 13:20:50 from

I’ve watched them both and Rampage will catch him 2nd rd .. Bonnars a okay fighter compared to Q and a whoso that fighter compared to Jon Jones, machinda, shogun, hendo, etc
