By now Bonnar is probably having nightmares knowing in less than a month he will have his face caved in by the P4P greatest fighter in the UFC. Sonnen thought he could take a punch until he felt Silva’s in the second fight.He couldn’t turtle up any faster than he did.

Though worrying about a fish seems funny, there is something deeper here. Torturing anything (cats, foreigners, prisoners, whistleblowers) is groovy in the States and they’ll get mad at you for pointing out their sexual frustration charged brutality. Anyway, I still think Bonnar will be a much more competitive adversary to Silva than Forrest. He is faster, moves better, has better striking technique and has been training hard on his wrestling. It doesn’t mean he will win, but I doubt he will look as bad as Forrest did.
