This was a good fight. im not TOO impressed with alvarez but whatever. Saul alvarez is the next pacquaio of the sport, saul alvarez will be the next main attraction! alvarez is kinda slow but his power makes up for his slowness.

I don’t understand why people have the opinion once someone is on the downward slope of their career they should Retire…
Why would someone stop doing what they love just because they are not as good as they were 10 years earlier.
These pros know the risks involved so if they want to continue its up to them and the commissions, not some keyboard warrior who secretely wants to kill themselves because they hate who they are. Stop being Jealous and grow up!

@Young : force = mass x velocity when all things are equal.

Boxing gloves have more give, and spread impact out. So though the weight of the shot might be heavier, the point of contact between the 2 glove styles varies greatly because of the area striking the opponent.

Also heavier gloves means slower punches.

Just sayin.

Mosley knew who he was fighting-give him credit he wanted to put a good show for his fans against a tough guy. For you non-boxing fans, Saul Alvarez is very popular in Mexico right now and they are slowly building up and showcased him now with a tough fighter like Mosley. He’s got a lot of potential as soon as he can work on his stamina and combinations.

Boxing is stupid because of the glove size? Did you know its a proven fact that getting hit with a boxing glove has more force than mma gloves? A real sport? That’s why no mma fighter has fought against a top class boxer in the ring but a boxer at least has balls to step into a cage on more than 1 occasion

BAd game plan for Mosley…. coming straight at a younger stronger faster guy, that makes sense.He thought he was going to pull another MArgarito-like beating, however this dude is way faster than Margarito with way better defense…..dude needs to retire.

crazy thing is Mosley said he was gonna retire after the fight with Pacquaio. so much for that but he should retire his health is more important than another payday and he could really do a lot for the sport devoting his time to bringing up newer talent in the gym and with his name recognition and dedication in the gym he can make a lot of money still
