Bummer, I hope that’s not a factor in the fight. I can’t imagine how much worse Carwin’s cardio will be if his knee is injured. I agree with Iron_Cobra, if Carwin can’t knock out Nelson (maybe he can, maybe he can’t), then Nelson will get the win.

I like Nelson as a fighter but I hate him as a coach.He trains Middleweights like he trains himslef.That’s wrong.Even Heavyweights shouldn’t train like Roy.

Gotta admit it has kinda turned me off him.. can understand what he is doing with the picks – you make your own future and here is your chance to make it – but it seems weak and crazy, as a coach he should be making these choices (but is scared he gets blamed for a bad fight).

although at least he supports and coaches his fighters cage side – carwin stays well away and has his “team” do it for him
