God, I miss Pride!! They had the best fight buildups and the best intros, not to mention the best fights!!
Straight beat down.
holy shit, that was amazing!
Great head movement and sharp punches. Pedro got owned.
omg. what a snap to that last kick. you could just feel the pain off of that one. ouch!
sergei is top 10 heavyweight fighter in the world.but his next opponent is very difficult.great win
Rizzo, one of the only Brazilians I’ve ever seen who prefers to stand-up, found out why he shouldn’t.
He’s responsible for some of the best UFC knockouts ever, but that was a while back and whatever was wrong with him on that night in 2005, it cost him a lot of pain.
WOW, now THAT was a mafuken beatdown!
tooled
that is a hell of a one-sided beating
been i a while since ive seen this one
Man, pedro, after the ufc, he’s been on a roller coster ride, but he’s still the man. Hope Rizzo comes back strong.
Man, that was a stand-up clinic. Great job switching it up between the punches and the leg kicks/knees and he barely even got touched by Rizzo. And that last kick to the head before Rizzo rolled back was brutal.
He should ditch the Stephen Baldwin in Biodome look though.
That was great.
Good night Brazil
Love watchin Sergei fight–I’d like to see him fight Arlovski.
Sergei is the man!
KieranMac — what about Anderson Silva? Wanderlei Silva? Vitor Belfort? Lyoto Machida? Arguably even Gabriel Gonzaga?– all Brazilians who prefer stand-up, just to name a few.
Anyway, people don’t come to watch Rizzo so they can see some jiu-jitsu. He is/was a big name fighter because he brings exciting KO finishes, one way or the other.
wow i didnt even remember this one anymore. Pedro seemed a lot out of fighting timing, ate a lot of punches and that big kick to the bucket on the ending… but still one of the best all time.
By the way congrats for the staff for posting out the dates and the events of the fights!
Sergei can box!!!
