all fight sports need a weight class higher than heavy weight.its not impressive to have a champ based just on hes to dam big for the rest of the heavy weights.itd be nice to have a cut off around 240 lbs n above that is super heavy weight

this is a joke.. the face that Sammy is above heavyweight means that there will never be a fair fight for em.. he wins because he knows how to use his reach and is in good shape.. thats ALL.. Forget about a super heavyweight cut off weight of 240 pounds, it is completely ridiculous that a natural 6 foot 220 pound guy sometimes has to fight a guy that is 7 feet tall and 300 pounds! Granted freakishly huge giants usually aren’t very coordinated,fast, skilled or athletic and often lose but it is still a lose/lose situation. If the smaller guy wins it is humiliating for the bigger guy and if the bigger guy wins nobody is surprised, entertained or impressed, not to mention the chances of the smaller fighter getting hurt are much greater,even if it is just from the giant falling on him by accident! It blows my mind that everybody makes a big deal out of a smaller fighter not making weight and coming in 3 pounds overweight! He has to pay a fine and give a portion of his purse to his opponent to fight at a catch weight, yet fights like this aren’t a problem! It should go 185,205,225,245,265 and so on. I know there are alot more smaller guys in the lighter divisions but that isn’t a bigger guy’s fault. If there are only a few guys in your weight class it should just mean that you fight the same guys all the time, you fight alot less often and that it is easier for you to be the champ!
