Glory World Series Main Event – United Glory 15 Videos of Semmy Schilt (37-6-1)No.2 heavyweight vs Brice Guidon (28-6-0)No.9. The bout took pace on 03/23/2012 in Dynamo Sport Palace, Moscow, Russia.
Guidon held his own for a while there. He was bringin it in the third. Once Schilt gets his riddum though, that reach just becomes to much for the shorter fighters.
What’s with the illuminated man?!
Thanks as always Bruno! I’m here every single day and will be for life!
semmy = monster
need to spike Semmy’s left toes with the elbow when he throws that push/snap kick to the liver. Spike immediately followed by a right hand.
I’m surprised these guys can’t figure Semmy out. He’s only been fighting the same way for 10 or so years…teep kick, left jab, left jab, strait right, repeat.

Looking forward to seeing the Zab Judah vs Vernon Paris fight. Vernon Paris has a interesting biography. Wonder if Bruno will put it up here.
Bruno: If I can.
I dont care what schilts record is, his Technique is horrible. I mean inside leg kick followed by a jab in which he flinches, drops his R hand and leans back with his chin up? terrible. 40 some odd fights and he still looks a bit amateurish.
and before anyone pipes up, YES I train. and YES, he would kick my ass.
arms like steele bats…
is this one of those illusions where something looks a lot bigger than the other but they’re actually the same size? ………
looks pretty sloppy, especially Guiodon, but Semmy too. Wide punches, problems with balance, looks ammateurish for some reaosn. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen K1 or anything of that sort, but I’d bet my weekly wages on JDS to knock both of this guys out on the same night. Reem probably would do them both with ease too
@ KouNTa
Size matters. The skill level was fairly equal. But as time goes on, being that big always becomes an advantage. Early in the fight energy and technique can overcome size, but if you don’t finish, you become a punching bag for the bigger man.
Exactly. And size also puts gravity to your advantage, too. You are always throwing with gravity whole the smaller guy is always throwing against it. It’s not much, but in the later rounds it makes a huge difference.
awesome vids Bruno
Could you please post the Dzhabar Askerov vs Maxim Virovsky that was also on the same card. I grew up with Maxim and i cant find the fights anywhere.
thanks
