That was a great fight. It was exciting the entire time of the fight. Both these guys are so hard to finish and they are fighting mirror images of themselfs. You can’t ask for anything else.

Sherk is a beast and he shows so much heart in his fights. The same goes for Griffin. But alot of people knew Sherk would win by decison. The only reason some say the fight was boring was because they wanted Tyson to win.
Major props to Sherk for standing up and trading cus he could have gotten takedowns all night long.

This fight was much better than I expected, based on the last few fights of both of these fighters. They both have a tendency to just grind things out, which is fine, but obviously not the most exciting thing to watch. (However, when they don’t even make an attempt to finish their opponent that is very frustrating as a fan.) I think this fight finally showed the spark in Tyson Griffen I’ve been waiting to see. He showed a lot of explosiveness, and the same goes to Sherk, a lot of which probably has to do with them being similarly talented.

Fight of the Night IMO. These guys are full of energy and did not stop for 15 minutes.

Sherk called out the winner of the Florian/ Stevenson match. I’m thinking we’ll see Sherk/ Florian II in the next 6 months with a different outcome this time. I’ve got nothing but respect for Sherk, but I think KenFlo is on a different level than he was a couple years back when they first met one another…anyone agree?

Kenflo has worked hard on being evasive. He utilizes the straight leg kick, side-to-side movement, and straight punches to keep his opponents away and guessing. Sherk will have problems on his feet. However, he could capatilize on a mistake by Kenny and get inside, knock him out. ON the ground, Sherk can’t control kenny, Kenny has the advantage. I see a UD win for Kenflo if the fight were to happen.

KOB, did you watch the same fight we all did? Did you not see Tyson Griffin’s face get pounded silly? Did you not see him get rocked in the first?

I’m not a Sherk fan at all, but that dude has seriously improved what used to be an unfocused striking game. His kicks were solid and his hands were the fastest I’ve seen him have, and he landed more than he took. He definitely threw less than Griffin, but blocked most of what was thrown at him.

Yeah, I think Rogan was serious.

Just because Sherk landed good shots against Griffin doesn’t mean he is a great striker.
Maybe after a few more fights we could call him that.

Great mma strikers are Silva, Liddell, St. Pierre & Alves.
