I like scott he can talk with out saying the f word and doesnt knock all the other organizations.
Does anyone know how much Fedor and Rogers each got paid? I remember when Fedor fought Tim Sylvia, he only got paid 230K.
Can some one please tell me why Strikeforce dont have a youtube channel like UFC?
what’s wrong with the f word? go kimbo!
I hope they succeed, I am tired of Dana White and his arrogance and how lame TUF has become.
A real class act…During this interview I didn’t feel like I was watching an episode of the Sopranos.
This is the president of an MMA company? Where were all the f-bombs? Where were the insults and personal attacks? Why didn’t he belittle his fighters and call fighters in other orgs cans?
This is how a president represents his company. It’s nice to hear an interview that isn’t filled with hate and ignorance. I enjoyed the card and hope Strikeforce continues to grow and do well. Hopefully the CBS deal can bring in bigger paydays for fighters and give them more opportunities and choices.
LOL I gotta agree nice to hear a president act like a man and not some high school punk swearing every 6 secs.
Strikeforce will need to play it smart and they can begin earning a good share of fans. That is until UFC takes them over! WAR UFC!!
“Does anyone know how much Fedor and Rogers each got paid? I remember when Fedor fought Tim Sylvia, he only got paid 230K.”
When Fedor was in affliction he got 10mil$ upfront for his contract, and 200.000+$ for each of the fights
probably same thing happening in strikeforce..
same goes for moussasi who gets payed by M-1 global and not strikeforce (strikeforce only payed him 2.000$ for his last fight)
they probably do it cause of the taxes in US..
I hope Strikeforce are successful, because ultimately its about creating healthy competition. A few more big name signings would boost their credibility aslong as they keep providing the fans with quality cards.
He makes Dana white seem like a cockyass jerk, which dana is starting to be now..
agree with everyone here. very professional and seems like he knows his stuff. i really hope strikeforce gets big. cant complain with free live mma. and also once the contracts start coming to an end for alot of ufc fighters strikeforce hopefully will be picking up alot of sick fighters.
Are you kidding me? This gy is politics… He says nothing to put himself out there and is going to be jst like boxing. I like strikeforce, bt i hope they tank so UFC (assholes) will pool together all of the real talent
I like Scott waaaayyyyyy more than Dana. He seems like he has higher than a 8th grade education! LOL
Why would anyone want SF to tank? You want the UFC to be a monopoly, why?
I don’t want to see any mma organization fail, but if I had a choice I’d prefer all the talent to be in SF over the UFC.
My reason is they seem more of a professional sport organization than the UFC does. I like others here are pleased to see a President of a company act like a pro and stop trying to impress 15 year old boys with all the tough talk and F bombs.
Far out – way way way impressed with this interview.
If I was a fighter I know who I would rather be dealing with.
I hope strikeforce keep on with the awesome progress they have been making
herokill it’s about how one represents themselves in a postion in power, why would he need to say something to put himself out there?
Dana White is getting ridiculous, why the president of a complany is even in a video game let alone a reality show and constant interviews is beyond me. You see and hear more from Dana then any of the fighters.
Scott Coker has earned my respect. Long live Strike Force!!!!!!!!1
this guys sounds like a nice guy and its not hard to listen to him, I honestly think few more good names and few more good cards and Strikeforce is going to be very big, good job
I just had to chime in here – Mr Scott Coker absolutely needs to do more interviews. He helps put mma in a good light for people who may be unfamiliar with the sport. Dana White, although admittedly is largely responsible for mma’s growth, may actually be starting to hurt it. Does it need to get corporate? No, but it needs to be professional. I cant see how he wont succeed – mma needs someone just like him. How can any true mma fan NOT want Mr Coker to be successful?
