He says he was injured and didn’t want to miss the fight I BELIEVE him. Him not taking seriously the fight in Japan is plain stupid to even think. That is the one place he really wants to show well at. Guy never not makes a fight if injured. When you get older and is injured cutting weight is a lot harder to do. No excuses but damn cant keep thinking the worst of fighters when they go to make a fight happen een when they shouldn’t. Aldo almost did the same thing last year miss the weight due to injury but wanted to fight. I’m not even gonna drop the unprofessional bs on Jackson cuz he still wanted to make this card worth the hype for the Japan MMA boost it needs. Log in to Reply kilo6four February 25, 2012 casyboy another half wit tool Log in to Reply bob February 26, 2012 The sport has become more of a “winning-by-points” event … once in a while there are good finishes, but the FOCUS now is mostly points. In the early days the sport tried to recreate — in the cage — what would happen in street fight (to the extent possible … no biting or knifing, of course). It’s drifted from that type of “fight-to-the-finish” style … that’s life I guess.
