It was a great fight up until Pointon recevess the axe cut across his brow. It’s one of the worst cuts I have seen in a fight.

I told you he likes to bang, He would of carries on to win the fight via TKO (srikes) if it carried on.

he’s a very exiting fighter to watch, but he needs to control his wild strikes it leaves him open too much.
Marius had some awesome knees… very well disguised… great fight… kind of like what Liddell Vs Silva should have been like.
Look at the Admin hooking up the Gerbil with his main man. Nothing but props to Ross, he really comes to bang.
Hopefully Kalib Starnes can move up weight classes and have a “My cut was more devastating than your’s” bout against Ross.
Im hoping to see him back in the UFC V Anderson Silva, they both like to bang and they both finish fights one way or another.
or mabye even Richie Hightower
Um if this video is for a Pointon fan shouldn’t he have at least won the fight. Wasn’t Ross a 2 time loser on the Ultimate Fighter program? Is this why he fights in Elite XC because the UFC doesn’t want losers?

he does have heavy hands but nothing special like u guys are hyping him up to be, i was way more impressed by his vicous right kicks than his striking
Gerbil, how great minds think alike. Pointon vs Anderson Silva would most likely be the fight of the year, or better yet, the 21st Century. Richie Hightower (going up weight classes) is rumoured to be training hard for a potential match-up with Couture, as we all know that Randy will come back to the UFC only against competition that is worth his while….Fedor, Hightower, Severn, Bol etc…
pointon is etertaining.. but against silva he would get dropped round 1

Hahaha. So much credit to the admin for posting this without even a direct request. And I don’t think it’s necessary for your fighter to win the fight for you to be happy with it. He did exactly what he always does and just threw, not caring about losing.

Damm that was a good fight Ross had a chance to win that fight. Who agrees with me that when there is a cut like that they should just put a bandage on and let it continue.

FEDOR999 I agree with you MArius was way more inpressive that Ross, but I guess people just see what they want to see.
I hope Marius join M-1, not UFC, he will be under paid over worked… doomed to very a short career as the UFC likes to use foreigners to fatten their own wallets, and that of the American fighters too.
I have lost all respect for the UFC as real MMA organization. The fans are uneducated, the organization doesn’t try to teach… It is more interested in the business rather than the sport… which simply swallows.
Unfortunately that’s all there is ’til M-1 kicks off, I hope it kicks off with a bang… that way DANA WHITE losses his job and they get a real MMA aficionado to run the UFC.
It would have been better if the Ref would have not stopped the fight at that point, but rather let Pointon work from there. Stopping a fight over a cut is an issue of fighter safety and well being — it could be argued that Pointon, the man on top, controlling the ground position, was safe and in no danger of further harm at that point in time. The ref should have let him work from that position and only step in when the fighters get back on their feet
