Che mills should have worked more ground, not sure if it would have made a difference but he didn’t do anything off his back except take a beating. As for Rory, he is just walking thru dudes like it’s nothing… I don’t know where he goes from here, but something tells me he’s going to be fighting Jake Ellenberger soon enough.

If it wasn’t for that last-minute stoppage against Condit, this kid would be the champion by now.
However, this fight didn’t do anything for him as rankings go. Yes, he beat a striker with little ground game who is nowhere near the top 10 in the division. Get your pay check and keep waiting in line.
Rory needs to fight top well-rounded fighters who can give him some trouble.

I was pretty excited to see this kid fight again, I seen him in Philly and he always brings it. He is a monster, I bet he will bump up a weight class to avoid having to fight GSP for the title. If you think about it hes pretty close to a title shot.

One of his best attributes (and often understated by many) is the STRENGTH and PRECISION in which he lands his shots from the top. SO many guys land crappy strikes from the guard – they miss, or they dont hit hard enough. If Rory is standing over you, he WILL hit you. hard.
PitFighter – you are so right. I rememeber that fight like it was yesterday. I will say this though, ONE OF THE MOST ENJOYMENT I have EVER HAD watching a fight was the manner in which RORY picked up Nate Diaz MULTIPLE times and drove his lanky, trash talking ass into the ground. I still vividly recall the images of Nate sh&t talking to RORY during the fight followed by Rory driving Nates head into the canvas like an oil rig.

I agree with Pit ftw this fight should have never happened terrible match making by Joe Silva. It was obivous well before the fight Che had nothing to offer Rory. And 1 win over the worst UFC fighter Chris Cope shouldn’t warrant a shot at one of the top 10 guys. Ror should be fighting only top competition.
