Ronda Rousey is expected to take on top contender Sarah Kaufman at a yet-to-be announced Strikeforce card in August. No date or location has been finalized yet.

This is kinda a funny match up. A female that is aware she is not pretty and refuses to wear make up vs one that believes she is supremely beautiful but would be lucky to be considered as average looking.
In terms of the fight itself I pretty much agree with Joe Dog. Although I dont think it will be super easy Kaufman is a lot better than Tate so lets not make any mistakes about that one. Rousey will eat a lot of punches but I expect her to win.
Yet I dont put a lot of stock into the current womens mma scene because the biggest player by far is on the sideline with a suspension. When Cyborg comes back I will be truly shocked if any woman including Rousey even has a competitive fight with her much less wins.

I’m really looking forward to this mma fight! I’m sure that Rhonda will win this fight by arm bar again, but she won’t be able to run through Kaufman like she did with Tate. I think Kaufman is a stronger female fighter as well when you compare her to Tate. Rhonda will have a lot of marks on her pretty face after fighting Kaufman I’m sure of this.

Rhonda won’t just sit there and get hit in the face. She knows what she has to do, which is judo toss that bitch and snap her arm. She won’t eat punches and she won’t stand there and let Kaufman do that, that just sounds stupid. Rhonda by 1st round arm bar.

This is a much more interesting fight than Rowdy v. Tate. Sarah is tough as nails and has much better standup than Tate. If Rhonda let her punch her like Tate did, it could be a different story altogether. That said, Rousey is definitely favorite. Everyone knows exactly what she is going to do and nobody could stop her so far. Kaufman could be the one to figure it out and that makes this fight very interesting.

I like Rousey, but Kaufman should not be slept on. I think her B game is better than Rousey’s A game. Avoid the clinch and stay on the outside and this match is over in the first round. The last 2 fights Rousey had could have ended that way but her opponents lost composure and tried to tie up with one bad ass grappler.

Kaufman is tough and a nice kid, but Rousey will dominate her. Anyone that fights Rousey KNOWS that they have to tap fast or they’ll end up with a loss and a destroyed arm. It’s just not worth trying to be tough against Rousey.
