I had nothing against Gina but I did against everyone cheering for her. I don’t even like or dislike Cyborg but really don’t like the people hating her– and that mostly because she’s not a standard feminine beauty.

I agree that the fight should happen at 135. Cyborg could make that weight if she laid off the anabolics, lost some of her synthetically-developed muscle mass, and showed up at a more natural weight. Fighting at 135 would basically force her to be a little more clean.

I don’t think it’s too much for Rousey to ask Cyborg to “come clean”.

If anyone is listening instead of just hating they’ll hear that she’s saying that if Cyborg wins it will reinforce the fact that people that have cheated their way through the sport can be winners. Rousey just doesn’t want to see that happen. Sure she wants to be the one who represents the sport, but is that so wrong?

As a fan, the fight would be a win-win for me because I would get to see either the cheater lose, or the big mouth lose. I doubt if the fight will even happen because Cyborg will not drop to 135 and Rousey won’t go up in weight. Maybe unless enough money is waved in front of them. Also, I think the popularity of the upcoming Invicta cards will be more of a determining factor in whether women’s MMA dies or not than who wins between Cheater and Big Mouth. Invicta has put on some action-packed cards so far and I doubt that the growing Invicta fanbase is going to die out just because Cheater beats Big Mouth.

Dont think anyone would talk about womens mma right now if it wasnt for rousey. It isnt even in the ufc. That being said. Its 50/50. Cyborg could throw wild bombs and get her arm snapped or pop ronda.

Whatever you think about Rousey’s personality, there’s no arguing she is an Olympic level talent with world class skills that are fun to watch. She’s raised the bar.

Plain and simple Cristiane Cyborg is a cheater. She could have killed somebody in the ring being 50% percent stronger than her competition because of her roiding. I have no interest in watching her fight again unless a) She consents to bi-weekly Olympic style drug testing for the rest of her career or b)she fights at 135, which after a making that weight for year for all intents and purposes would accomplish close to the same thing.

The steroid bust –and earlier suspicions of it– make it easier to hate Cyborg but that hate was there like it always is for ugly girls beating up pretty girls. You guys may have decided to dislike her purely on your suspicions of her doing roids but a lot of people bring that up to justify their hate.

Also, my wife competes in IDFA figure events and once placed first and once second (VERY ripped when cutting!). No masking going on or cycling….she has never done steroids. I have never done roids but get accused all the time…obviously Cyborg got busted but I don’t suspect anyone without proof

Cyborg should not be fighting women. She has packed on male muscle through roids that will never fully go away unless she cuts weight. The request by Rhonda is very reasonable.
