Ref made the right call. I find Ronda’s grappling very sexy. I wonder if Girlrilla think’s she’s hot, too….? 😉 ♠ Log in to Reply Dave-O February 22, 2013 she may be be a one trick pony, but its a hell of a trick. Log in to Reply wtf February 22, 2013 girlrilla will probably be soaking wet the entire fight lol… just like i’d be rock hard if i was wrestling around with ronda… naked… covered in oil errr women’s mma isn’t so bad lol Log in to Reply NotVinnieJones February 22, 2013 I don’t know if I’d assume she was a one trick pony at this point. It doesn’t take much knowledge to understand that judo utilizes a lot more submissions than just an armbar and she’s a bronze medalist in judo. From that, I’d have to assume that she’s well-versed in other submissions (likely more well-versed in them than a lot of other MMA female fighters) but just hasn’t gone out of her way to use them to win a fight. Ronda herself said she knows other subs but just hasn’t used them as of yet. Is she a one-trick pony or has she just given us just a sampling of what she is really capable of? Time will tell. With Liz, we might also get a chance to see what type of chin Ronda has…and that makes a difference since a fighter has to be able to take damage as well as give it out. Log in to Reply Wow February 22, 2013 I think the ref should let the arm break if the fighter doesn’t tap So Bad Call! Submissions are different from KO’s Log in to Reply Benjamin February 22, 2013 What kind of trip was that when she lost the first armbar? Stratford went STRAIGHT down. Very effective. Log in to Reply AJ February 22, 2013 i really hope the fight tomorrow night doesn’t end this quickly. Log in to Reply 420 February 23, 2013 was 420 a coincidence Bruno? Log in to Reply FailSonnen February 23, 2013 You just have to beat Ronda to the punch before she throws you to armbar….which isn’t exactly easy since she has Olympic Judo level tech Log in to Reply dm7953 February 23, 2013 So Ronda has fought at 145.
