Other than the hair grabbing, I think the Grimm is a pretty good heavyweight fighter. I’ve liked him since I saw him in EliteXC. He has good technique though I have no idea of what his ground game looks like. He was on Inside MMA last week and said he understands he has to work on it because eventually he will end up there. He seems to be humble and knows his weaknesses. I hope to see him fight again this year.

Rogers has good stand up. I wonder what would happen to him if Lesner or Mir takes him down. Well, what I really wonder is how long does the it take for Lesner to hammer fist him into a bloody mess or for Mir to snap his arm.

LOL, I know Kimo wished they had the Hair pulling rule when he fought Royce Gracie, it was legal then, and he just grabbed his pony tail and controlled him. It looked like his scalp was gonna come off. I didn’t really see it at first, but on the replay, he was obviously tilting his head back by pulling on the hair to get the uppercut. Flashbacks of Wanderlei on the ending tho…lol

The card was awesome. I hope they post all the fights that went on last night. I don’t remember ever seeing a woman get the full suplex treatment before (cyborg vs. akano). The war between Benji and Scott was a good one too and of course the surprise of Diaz being so dominant over Shamrock. I was surprised to see the poll on the home page where more people that I thought didn’t care about this card. Guess they didn’t realize why no one (even Dana White) has anything bad to say about Scott Coker (Head of Strikeforce). They can put on a good show out there in California.

Abango needs to stfu about the hair grabbing. If you don’t want to risk getting your hair pulled in the plum, don’t go into a fight with huge dreadlocks. MMA is a sport; you cut your nails, you wear appropriate clothing and protection, and you cut your f*cing hair so it doesn’t impede your vision/interfere with your ability to fight.

they did not waste any time. it was all out all the time.
when it comes to heavyweights, the ufc really has no grounds for calling either mir or the steroid monkey ‘heavyweight champion of the world’.

humphreys is a tough dude and a good fighter.

he should have kept it going as cardio might have been on his side a the smaller faster guy. he should have continued more the approach of the first few minutes, to tire and frustrate rogers. it wasn’t smart to bring it to a beast like rogers.

I cant wait to see Fedor give Rogers the fight that he should have got from Arlovski. AA made the misteake of underestimating the competition. If you ask me the Arlovski that Rogers fought was not in the same physique as when he knocked out Rothwell back in July. If you look at the snap shots of the 2 fights its as if it was 2 different fighters. Anyhow I think that Fedor Vs Rogers will be a really interesting matchup but I dont think Rogers has a chance.
