Reply to all you mma “true fans” that are probably overweight douchebags that want to sound like you know something about a sport you watch: I never said Kenny wasnt a good fighter, I said he was a pussy. Over and over again he spouted off at the mouth how much he finishes fights. I even went as far as to say he won. Good on him, Huerta still needs work. As for facing Penn? Get real. BJ doesnt have any comp in that division. Hes on a different level

I just watched that fight for the second time and was still impressed with Kenny. He landed a diverse array of shots and took Huerta down at least three times. Granted, Huerta did get back to his feet after the takedowns and he escaped TWICE when Kenny had his back. Roger Huerta is a game fighter, for sure!

i enjoyed this fight. but i think huerta should have won. i dont really see how throwing a kick or punch every 6 seconds could win a fight :/.

Lets face it MMA still has a blood sport label on it. Some people hate it and stay away because of that and some come expecting it. As the sport gets more real fans the technical game will become more popular.
I did like seeing Brock in the ring tho. That dude is scary as hell.

The problem with UFC fans is half of them barely understand the fight game.

It is called fighting on the “outside”, not running away. The big difference between the two is fighting on the outside means you are still throwing punches, but you are staying out of the range of power shots. He still dashed in and let go a few of his own, but then he would return to the outside to minimize his opponents effective attacks.

How the hell can you knock someone for fighting well? What do you want him to do? Walk into his punches, slug with him and have a war? Cut his fight career in half and lose needlessly? People who want that don’t need to watch the UFC, they need to go to a bar and watch a bunch of drunks slag it out.

This is a big boy sport; not some half ass two-bit blood fest for all those too weak to fight themselves to watch. No wonder most the boxing fans think UFC fans are useless idiots who know nothing of the fight game… The problem is, right now the people with the loudest voices are idiots that don’t know shit; they make the REAL fans of the UFC look bad!
