This is the fight video of Roger Huerta Vs Clay Guida at UFC TUF Finale. |
This was one of the best fights of the year. I knew it would be a good fight but it was worth staying to the end of the show to catch this one. Huerta and Guida both wanted the win and it looked like it could go ether way up until the very end.
No spoiler just the fight.

on the other hand… roger has better stand up and i remember those wicked smack sounds from his powerful kicks… he may be outwrestled by guida but he def.ly has better understanding in jiu jit su… oh yeah he survived through the end of the 2nd round
damn best fight of the year so far for sure. guida was winning the stand up at some points which i didnt expect at all. if the fight woulda went the distance guida had that fight won easily. roger know guida would go for the take down and lickily timed it to were he kneed guida real hard. after that knee guida was done you could tell i mean he didnt and couldnt taker huerta down even though he had the whole fight. i like both these fighters and wanted both to win. good thing huerta got that knee and submission cause he was on his way to his first ufc lose. but guida did earn a victory to bad it didnt happen but good for huerta
pretty upsetting for guida to lose after fighting such a good fight…but give credit to huerta for finding a way to win and keeping his head in the game

Stinks I missed the fight. Saw clip and think it was a very good fight. Always on their toes. I’m a Huerta fan but would not have minded if Clay won becuase I know him. He lived a few houses from me in Pistakee Highlands(Mchenry/Johnsburg, IL).
Man! I thought that Huerta was done on the 2nd, but he came back on the 3rd like a fucking animal!!

wow : clayy was doingg amazing until the 3rd round. but he used to much energy into nothing going into it & left himself wide open for huerta. deff. didnt expect this good of a fight from huerta.
nothing like wearing yourself out before getting into the cage.i personally hate guys who fight for the crowd. i would love to smoke his pole though.

Huerta showed what it is to be a great fighter. i dont know if most other great fighers would have found a way to win that fight and Huerta did it impressively.
if guida cut his damn hair, i’d put my money on him again
I was going clay all the way and really thought he had it till huerta hit him with that knee in the 3rd round. Either way everyone knows huerta has more than what it takes to become a champion he just needs o work on his ground game a bit more and he will be more a beast than ever. His standup has seemd phenominal for every fight of his that i’ve followed. (all ufc)
also you can’t deny that clay guida has ONE HELLUVA CHIN. hueta hit him so many time in the face its not even funny and out of all those hits clay just come at him like he’s a fucking bulldog fueing off the punisment. props.

Roger a damn good fighter. Always have been. You should seen him in high school in Austin, TX, one of the best wrestler in texas. He deserves everything that comes his way.

Chuck Liddels the best?? He lost two in a row and he didnt give a good show againts Silva….By the way on that fight Silva put it all in the line…..Right now the best fighter pound for pound is Anderson Silva…
Absolutely one of the best MMA fights ever – all out brawl between two amazing, high-energy and technically superior fighters. Unbelievable chins on both of them and amazing wrestling/bjj skills.
Guida is an interesting fighter. The first time I saw him fight he looked horrible. Tentative, like he was afraid to get punched, and his striking was pretty weak. Over the last three fights I’ve seen, he has made huge gains. His hands are more and more precise, heavier, and he’s not afraid to take a shot to dole some out. Couple more fights and he could be a really tough contender. That said, I love Roger Huerta. So aggressive but so relaxed (look at his face while he’s on his back). With his athleticism it all looks so very natural for him, where Guida has definitely trained himself into the fighter he is purely through a lot of hard work (not that Huerta isn’t a hard worker too).
That cat Guido needs to cut that mangey mop head. He would have won this fight if he didn’t spend half the fight twiddling with it like he was awaiting the new issue of ‘Tiger Beat.’
to all the criticizers out there. i’d like to see you get in that octagon and try to win.
Roger Huerta is an excellent figther. He has the spirit, is young and is improving constantly. The guy is 24 years old and i belive has a great career ahead of him.
That third round stare off is exactly what you want to see in any fighting match, 100% commitment to risk it all and may the best figther win.
As far as who’s the best figther i would go with Huerta. Guida won the second round with that punch to the jaw but the same thing was accomplished by Huerta in the third round and he capitalized it with that choke and the win.
