It’s unfortunate especially considering Semerzier was winning (at least in my books). Great fight up until that point, and no way could anyone have seen that it was a headbutt causing the knockdown until the replay.

TKO will probably get turned into a NC but even if not, they will do a rematch or something.

Nah, this will be overturned. Happened in boxing also several years back. Dude, got KO’d by a headbutt and was ruled a no descision later on. What they might do though is go to the score cards since in happened in the final round.

They will probably let it stand and should do so unlike the first two posters responded they where both throwing in the pocket and if anything Mack Da Menace led with his head, s*** happens but this in not gonna be overturned like the Olivera illegal knee trust me.

that’s unfortunate. I don’t remember ever seeing a fight end like that in MMA. I wonder if they’ll let the outcome stand or not.

I hope this gets turned into a no contest.Clearly the headbutt was unintentional but still you’re not suppose to win by TKO with an illegal shot.
