Robbie didn’t rush him when he was hurt. Looks like he’s gotten smarter, you don’t get too aggressive or angry during a fight EX: vs Nick Diaz. And Scott Smith needs to incorporate muay thai into his training, he has good boxing but it ain’t enough.

I have never seen anyone throw such vicious punches than that right there from Robbie Lawler. I’m pretty sure I heard some bone breaking when he was nailing him in the ribs. And those cracks to the head were pretty loud, I mean even the camera mics picked them up. I expected a good fight out of Scott but Robbie got the better of him. Smith was getting his spurs of connections on Lawler but it wasn’t enough.
I also want to note that he didn’t kick smith in the head, he got him in the shoulder. Herb Dean would have stopped him from attacking if he knocked him in the head.
