They hardly ever actually fight :S Log in to Reply metallicafan October 11, 2012 Thats weird? I’m pretty sure ive seen him at many UFC events in the crowd. Log in to Reply whatevs October 11, 2012 yeah but mma is getting there too. it’s a sad trend that combat sports follow when they become more “professional”, mainstream or whatever. When basically the numerical representation of your “record” becomes more important than the fashion in which you won and the actual record (yeah like the video camera recording) of your fight. Log in to Reply Ozinator October 11, 2012 boxing CAN be good but the ref has too much influence–especially in the lighter classes. Rob is full of schit and like so many soft guys like him, pretends he’s an expert by saying stuff like this. Hollywood has made these sarcastic wannabees look legit but they know who they are when they look at themselves. Log in to Reply Iron_Cobra October 11, 2012 Any enthusiast of mma has to have at one point been a boxing fan. I remember as a kid watching great fights such as Barrera vs morales. Those were brutal fights and respecting the determination of both men. I can agree with rob on this. Log in to Reply shitface October 11, 2012 All I heard is the guy say that regarding mma, he’s ignorent. Log in to Reply Dorksnouticus October 12, 2012 The dude never said he doesn’t like MMA, or that MMA is not exciting, he said he finds boxing more exciting, and he seems to not be a fan of the ground game. Log in to Reply Grape Soda October 12, 2012 Rob Schnider in derp de derp de derpety derp. Log in to Reply vborn October 12, 2012 I’ve never been a boxing fan, and I follow MMA very closely. Rob doesn’t get Jiu-Jitsu which is common. I find it boring to see MMA matches of just striking with hands. I like the array of attacks, and watching the many styles of fighting. Log in to Reply Perulives October 12, 2012 Rob Schnider is a stapler Log in to Reply Victoria, BC --Canada October 12, 2012 give Rob some time and he’ll figure it out Log in to Reply Not anonymous October 12, 2012 Iron_cobra: False. To me boxing has always been a great idea with terrible execution. I really don’t have 90 minutes to watch what is essentially, a draw. Take the gloves back down to a reasonable weight, and someone might get KOed. That would be worth watching. As it is, you have two 125 pound latinos throwing some one pound gloves at the other latino’s one pound gloves indefinatly. Those monstrosities are so big, that in the lighter classes one glove covers 85% of your face and body. Log in to Reply Christian October 12, 2012 Who give a **** what Rob Schnider thinks lol Log in to Reply greengiant October 12, 2012 i think if rob learned more about the ground game and took some classes he would like it more.of course dry humping on the ground sucks but so does dancing around and not engaging on the feet. Log in to Reply brucelee23 October 12, 2012 Its still one guy on one guy ??? So is 2 guys fighting in an octagon, isn’t it ??? Log in to Reply TheKungFuLowKick October 12, 2012 Everything he said he liked about boxing can be applied to MMA if you have half a brain.Rob needs to see his favorite boxing champion get choked, tossed around and dominated by a smaller purple belt who doesn’t have the quarter of the training time the boxing champ does. Then maybe he will appreciate MMA and grappling.Or maybe he will say Derp Derpy Derp ground game is gay Derp Derpedy Derp Dep. Log in to Reply Tankp4p1 October 12, 2012 Boxing is better and always will be, that’s why it’s survived for over 100 years, MMA is losing popularity with horrible cards and match ups, More striking and Less humping Log in to Reply failsonnen October 12, 2012 I’ll only take Al Bundy’s opinion since he actually trains Log in to Reply MuffDiggler October 12, 2012 Boxing is to MMA what Rob Schnieder is to Adam Sandler Log in to Reply Oswald Cobblepot October 12, 2012 Rob Schneider would get dropped Log in to Reply MRBARBARYCOAST October 12, 2012 The fact of the matter is that when boxing first started out-it included grappling-dirty boxing- elbows-and no gloves-over time the fans wanted the cleaner stand up portion, so it became what it is today-I can’t believe that I have never read the true history of boxing from any of the major MMA websites-Basically, boxing started out a lot like vale tudo Log in to Reply dankarelli October 12, 2012 why does anyone care what he thinks? seriously. It’s Rob ****ing Schneider. maybe if he made a funny movie I’d be slightly more inclined to give a rats ass. Log in to Reply southiejimmy October 12, 2012 Hey rob, maybe since you have so much time on your hands, you could take 5 minutes to learn the ground game, then they wouldnt “lose you” Log in to Reply the jizzle October 12, 2012 Rob is the type of MMA fan that will only watch a KO, if he thinks boxing is romantic than wait till he realizes the skills a ground game takes. Im ok with that but I think people like this need to realized MMA fighters use boxing + other skills, so what is so exciting about watching a guy get punched stupid for a whole night? Log in to Reply ^^^^ October 12, 2012 Everyone is entitled to what they like better which is fine. Either MMA or Boxing, but when he tells you he doesn’t understand the ground game, that goes for majority of the new fans or boxing fans that watch MMA. They don’t understand it. That’s why it so important to keep Rogan’s commentating to explain each step on the ground. Log in to Reply wow October 12, 2012 Properly spoken like an old ****.
