is it me or do these guys in the WEC seem alittle more hungry compared to most UFC fighters, i’ve watced 10 times more exciting fights in the WEC

wrestlers sucks! (no randy couture,don frye and another great fighters)
most of wrestlers cant fight
they can do proper stand up or any submission
normaly use the same 2 or 3 takedowns
and can even do proper ground and pound
all they do is hugging everyone around
yes control is important when you are using it to do sonting.
on transition to a better position where you can finish the fight.
MMA is a fighting sport
sport but most importantly a fight

great fight. definitely fight of the night. kinda sucks for gomez to put on such a good show like that, and only walk away with four grand. hardily enough to pay off his medical bills for all those lumps he took.

gomez needs to learn how to wrestle, the takedowns definitely weren’t great but Gomez had no takedown defense whatsoever. If he has a little bit of wrestling ability, he should have been able to stuff the takedowns, considering how long it took cunkilton to finish the shots.

Being able to wrestle doesn’t necessarily mean laying and praying, it also gives you the ability to keep it standing.
