UFC has the best fighters in the world. Not all the best fighters but a shit load of them. I have never heard of the UFC releasing any fighters for winning a fight except for Sobral and for good reason. Sobral is an asshole and will never change.
Maybe an abused child in the game for the wrong reason.

This is a prime example of why I like the octagon better than the ring for MMA. The fight could have been finished atleast twice plus Mike wrapping his arm around the rope to prevent from being taken down and people whine about fighters using the cage…..

Florian vs Huerta
Nog vs Mir
Machida vs Thiago Silva
Diego Sanchez vs Thiago Alves

The UFC’s up comming fights look pretty good to me. With possible Shogun return, GSP vs BJ Penn, Anderson Silva at 205…there are wayyy too many fight possibilities. The UFC isn’t going anywhere.

The UFC has the star power and money to be the premiere MMA league forever. The Fertitas are billionaires. They didn’t get to where they are by being idiots.

I still say that mma should not be fought in a ring. Rings invented for stand up fighting. Fighters fall out of rings, lean on the ropes to prevent take downs, and ground fighting and momentum is stopped when it gets close to the edge. I’m not saying the cage is the best… but it’s better than a ring.

The UFC really messed up by letting them go, Im glad there’s more organizations giving great fighters a chance to do their job and show them some re$pect.

Sobral has proved he does not need Dana White, Zuffa or the UFC. The UFC made a bad decision and lost a great fighter in Sobral. Dana White is proving to be his own worst enemy.

Like it really matters. Babalu would have never defeated the top guys in the UFC anyway. I am actually surprised he won this fight. Ever since his 2 KO losses, he has been terrible.
