I don’t think Sobral can justify that choke by saying he wanted to ‘teach him a lesson’. trash talk is part of the game, but Bablu showed no class in what he did at 74. He gives the sport of MMA a bad name.

Sobral’s days with UFC are done. He seems to have slipped considerably in his fighting. Add to that the depth in UFC @ LHW and they certainly don’t need Babalu to “shake things up”. He’d barely cause a ripple in the pond.

Fuck that, Babalu should be banned from entering the US. After what he did to Heath, I can’t see why after choking a guy out (which is a felony) we even let him get a visa to get into our country.

It’s a shame Babalu got released from the UFC. Regardless of what happened in his last fight, he’s still on of my favorite fighters. Hopefully, he can work his way back to UFC and shake things up in the 205-lb division.
